Brent Marks is Mr Runner Up in 2023. This is his 9th 2nd place finish in 2023 plus he was runner up in points to Anthony Macri for the PA speedweeks. He is quietly having a very good season with his 2nd place finishes including 2nd at Kings Royal.

He was setting it up from the green flag. Saw that first start, stayed close, kept playing with lines while staying close and pressuring him. Master class in driving on a night where the track made it difficult to pass.

If mm is in the lead ,WHY every time he comes up to lap cars they throw a caution ? If He so great let him go threw lap cars let him earn the money who can’t drive an open track git a jump he gone Oh he might git hung up and some one else would win. I pray the gambling dont have any thing to do with who wins. Like all the other sports. Does it? Looks like it.

That was actually really boring. Cory Eliason was up 10 spots, to 9th I think. Most of the top 8 only moved 1 or 2 spots, aside from Lucas Wolfe who was up 6 and finished 8th. Not the normal Lernerville for sure

Almost everytime either DD or Brent Marks are on the podium it looks funny because it seems like atleast half if not most of these sprint car drivers are 5'6" or shorter while both DD and Brent Marks are 6'0" plus. It often looks like DD and Brent Marks are standing with a bunch of kids on the podium, lol!

I don't know if you've done it but a walk through the pits is shocking. These guys are like jockeys. Like you said, 5'6 with 28" waists. They are the size of little kids.

@larryb7969 the podium picture with Kyle Larson standing next to Brent Marks is funny as hell. I swear the average height of these Cali drivers especially is 5'4". Freddie Rahmer would be average height out there I guess, lol! But alot of PA drivers aren't much taller anyway. Many could be jockeys for horse racing.

A lighter driver is an advantage. There is a minimum weight rule with driver,so it's easier to not go too far over the weight requirement. Lighter is faster.

@wg5768 Steve Kinser wasn't tall but he was big and muscular which is the opposite of many of today's top sprint car drivers like Brad Sweet, Kyle Larson etc.

Macri is subbing in the 7bc for all the all star schedule, and any world of outlaw race they're going to run, including the nationals at knoxville. Corey day will run the 7bc at the high limit races. Both are until sunshine comes back.

Anthony Macri sounds like a hothead with what happened with him and his father if true. That team was really doing awesome for 2 straight years but somehow Anthony Macri still wasn't happy. He better calm the hell down and take advantage of driving temporarily for Tyler Courtney's team and do the best he can so he can get a full time ride and when he gets a full time ride stop being a hothead and just be happy to be racing for a good quality team. Anthony Macri is a very talented driver but it sounds like he needs to mature as a person.

Larsen can beat the AAA guys but usually struggles against the great drivers of the WoO. He crashed half the feild last week.

Not a Larson fan but he can run with anybody. He backed off on regular Outlaw shows because he slammed them in the press and the High Limit deal. Don't forget he's getting into a car he drives once every 3 weeks. I think it was the year before last it seemed like he was beating the Outlaws every time he went out. There's no doubt if he ran a full WoO schedule he would be a champion his first year out and many more after that.

@@larryb7969 The year Larson was in the 57 full time he won more than half of all races he entered. One of the regular WoO drivers was joking around and said, if Larson would go back to NASCAR, he would buy his plane ticket, pack is bags and take him to the airport.
