Grew up watching Don Most, loved his character Ralph Malph. The good ole days of television, clean fun escapism. Thank you Donnie….Thanks also to the uploader, really enjoyable interview.
Donny was a man ahead of his time. Knew in HIGH school to go out to L.A., spend a summer there, do some scouting around (agents, auditions etc.). That's rare for a hs kid. Kind of feels like a Destiny thing. Plus Donny had and has a great look - I mean at 15 he's perfect cast member/ANY cast! (along with great co-stars) Great interview and piece.
He seems like such a good man. Watching something positive was much needed. Thank you for the laughs and memories. My dad and I love watching the reruns.
Be interesting to get Don's take. On the entrance and background of the Fonzy character. Also the controversy, possible heat/conflict between stars. Ron Howard (in his own words) saying, "Hey this was supposed to be MY show!" i.e. They wanted to capitalize on Fonz-mania. Change the name of the show to "Fonz's Happy Days." Very cool Ron stood up for himself - but scary too.

Did you hear the one about the optometrist who fell into his lens grinder? He made a spectacle of himself. I heard that on Happy Day over 40 years ago. It was Malphs dad(Jack Dodson) who also played Howard on the Andy Griffith Show
I have to add my favorite Happy Days show was "The Motorcycle". Ralph accidentally destroys Fonzie's bike. I laughed all through that show! Thanks for the laughs, Don. These last couple of years have been tough and laughing IS the best medicine. I still watch the reruns, though not so much after you and Ron left.
Used to watch Happy Days with my mom every Tuesday night before Laverne and Shirley for Happy Days was set in the 50's when my mom was growing up so she identified with the show and loved it. Just subbed to your channel great interview with Don Most aka Ralph Mouth 👍👍
About a year ago, I saw an old episode of 'Chips' on a vintage programming channel.....where he was playing some rock star in KISS-like makeup. I think that gal who plays Elvira may have been in the same episode.
Don Most Mentioned early episodes of Happy Days was directed by Jerry Paris and if I'm correct I believe he also co-starred and directed many of the Dick Van Dyke Show of the 1950s
Yes, that's Jerry Paris who played Jerry Helper on The Dick Van Dyke Show. He also directed a bunch of episodes on that show also as well as The Odd Couple.
Yes, he started out with a light blue jacket bc they said he'd look like a "hoodlum," be associated with crime, drugs, and a bad life-style. Too funny!
I'm listening to this while wearing a t-shirt with the characters from the Dungeons & Dragons Saturday cartoon. It was my very favorite and I loved Don as Eric in that show. Thanks very much for posting this interview! 👍
The first three years were the best. Then it betrayed its fans and really became the “ Fonzie Children’s Show.” Sad. The show lost its way. Many of the first two years shows were very good.

I am surprsed or dissapointed that the Interviewer didn't ask him about probably the most Famous Star to come out of Happy Days after Henry Winkler and Ron Howard- Pat Morita aka Arnold aka Mr. Miyagi. Although in Pat Mortia's case- it was his Casting as Mr. Miyagi in the Karate KId Movies that really made him a big Star. I wish the interviewer had asked him about Pat Morita and Pat becoming a big Star with the Karate KId Movies.
Wow, Don Most should stay out of the sun, specially with his fair skin. Glad to see him but he could get skin cancer if he continues with that type of sun burn. On another note, how disrespectful of the host not to bring in mind Joanie, Erin Moran who passed away, and also Scott Baio. Its not like they didn't play a big part of Happy Days, specially from the middle to the end of the show.

I don’t think it was sunburn that Don has but Rosacea. Yes it is common in Irish descent and fair skin. Don was more of a force in Happy Days than Ron or Anson. They are meshed well.
I was a fan of Happy Days, and this guy seems okay, but he was wrong to turn against Scott Baio simply over politics. Especially since Scott is much better informed than this guy will ever be.
@@tj.espygil4544 He played "Chachi" on Happy Days. Good guy, but he has been ostracized by some of the political lefties on that show simply because he's a conservative.
@@watchman1178 Most of us have specific political inclinations but several years ago I stopped watching TV awards shows, tabloid shows like Entertainment Tonight, etc. When I want TV entertainment I want to escape from all the political BS.
