Mongolia and North Korea, despite not being part of the Soviet Union we’re still close Allie’s of the USSR, and we’re under heavy Soviet influence. Even though Mongolia is no longer communist, there’s still Soviet influence in the country. Soviet-style architecture is common in Central Asia, as well as Mongolia and North Korea. Look at pictures of the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar or North Korea’s Pyongyang and compare them to Moscow.
