my jaw dropped so hard when I first saw the ending to this episode! they did the buildup so freaking well, her arc is honestly one of the most well written one's in the show, because it just clicked into place perfectly this season!
"Why does this feel like the episode before the season finale?" This entire season, every single episode, feels like the precursor of some epic finale!
No it shouldn’t, that’s why she wasn’t even nominated…watch more shows outside of Netflix😆😂 There was at least more than 10 performances way better than Sadie so again…hence why she wasn’t even nominated.
@@reynaldolorenzo8409 I will not deny the fact that there were heavy hitters in the categories that year but it still was an incredible performance that is Emmy worthy. Look at more reviews. I am not the only one who thinks this. Her episode brought out so many emotions and she did amazing as a 20 year old actor.
@@EmeraldRich Nah, 9/10 of those reviews are from people that doesn’t have any acting knowledge and doesn’t watch more content, they are Netflix consumers and they think anything in there is a masterpiece or Emmy worthy so nah. It was her best performance in her short career but it wasn’t Emmy worthy. Julia Garner, Rhea Seehorn, Laura Linney, Sarah Snook, Patricia Arquette, J Smith Cameron, Christina Ricci, Gillian Anderson, Jung Ho Yeon, Aubrey Plaza, etc, all of them had WAYYYY better performance than Sadie Sink. Like I said, not even top 10 there’s too many other performances way better.
Episode 4 is probably one of the most jaw dropping, emotional and sitting on the edge of the chair while biting your finger tips episodes I’ve ever witnessed in cinematic history. Sadie Sink deserves so much more. Can’t wait for this roller coaster you guys are about to take!
@@mikaelahyakuya_u No it wasn’t, that you don’t watch more movies and tv shows that’s on you but it’s not even close to being one of the best episodes, not even for Netflix standards. Arcane, Dark, Daredevil, Ozark, Mindhunter, Hill House, Peaky Blinders, Narcos, etc, have WAY better episodes.
@@serenacoke6929 Again, just because you don’t know anything about cinema doesn’t mean you are right😂 A show being famous doesn’t mean it’s better objectively. ST is overrated by Netflix consumers that only watch Netflix and doesn’t know anything about writing, filmmaking or acting, that’s why Netflix consumers call anything a masterpiece and that’s why the most mediocre shit in Netflix can make a lot of money and be famous, doesn’t mean it’s better than other platforms shows. All those shows I mentioned are Emmy nominees-winners except Hill House because it’s horror and the horror genre never gets any love. Wednesday, Umbrella Academy or Outer Banks for example, those show are super famous and the acting is bad and the writing is horrible. Then you have Emmy winners and nominees shows like Better Call Saul, Succession, Barry, Severance, The Boys, House of Dragons, Ted Lasso, The Bear, The Handmaid’s Tale, etc, but Netflix consumer never heard of them because they only watch mediocre Netflix content. Then with movies, Grey Man, Red Notice, Bird Box, etc, are horrible written but then CODA it’s from Apple TV and won 3 Oscar’s but Netflix consumers doesn’t even know about it. So just because a show is more famous than others doesn’t mean that they are better. Those that knows even a little bit about filmmaking and other aspects knows that not a single episode of ST is even close to being one of the best episodes in tv history, not even top 30.
24:34 mark - this was 1986, we didn't have all the security checks & restrictions at the airport. All that changed after the 9/11 attacks. Back then you could bring just about anything on board (except explosives). I remember my uncle once brought his knife collection in his carry on bag because he was afraid that the baggage handlers would either steal it or his suitcase would get lost. He even brought it out & was showing it off to other passengers, all while chain smoking & getting hammered on little bottles of booze. Ah, the good old days - fun times... LOL! 😄 Woo Hoo - onwards to chapter 4! Make sure you have a box of Kleenex tissues nearby, you're gonna need it! 😱
One of my favorite scenes of this season is when jonathan and the others park at the side of the road, where Fred is found. Nancy sees them and you can see in her eyes that she realizes that the nightmare she hoped was over, isnt. And that the others feel the exact same way, and completly understands because they all have their own nightmares to deal with, because of their shared past. That moment lasts for five seconds and not a word is said between them, but that scene is so heavy.
I appreciate how much everyone is looking forward to future episodes, and I share your enthusiasm, but please everyone try to be careful about spoilers.
Apparently Vecna was part of the show from the very beginning, he even appears in the very first episode, just for a split moment When Mike is riding home with his bike he gets spooked by something suddenly appearing in the street, that was Vecna, the creature appearing has all of Vecnas features, tall and slender, one large hand, he can appear out of nowhere and in the background you can hear a clock ticking down
Fun fact Russia location was actually filmed in Lithuania, also there are few Lithuanian actors who play Russians 😁 💜 Btw love your reactions, been waiting for you to react to season 4, can’t wait for the final episodes 💜 Greetings from Lithuania 🇱🇹
Thanks for the reaction. This season just keeps ramping up. Episode 7 is probably my favorite episode of the season, so many answers come out in that episode.
Don’t you dare doubt Lucas ever again smh… shame on you! Lucas is v smart, they all are & he knew sumn was off from the beginning & probably had a hunch that he should stay around & fish for information.
This episode p*ssed me off soooo bad they just tore a minor out of her home and threw her in a scary van…then proceeded to try to get her to admit to attempted murder. Wtf!!
Yes they can. Angela's parent's are more than likely the one's that pressed assault charges. A lot of this though is over dramatized. The hopper scenes were filmed in Lithuania at a decommissioned prison.
@@starcourtfoodcourt797 it’s not though and I am not even a hater of the show because I love the show but it’s not a masterpiece I don’t think any show is
32:26 u said we can’t protect them but even back then we had really good flame throwers plot hole 10 guys with falmethrowers could do a lot of damage to the mind flayer and vecna (vecna is way harder to unalive) all they needa do is bring in 100 marines in with flamethrowers, thermites, and fire grenades. Everyone forgets that the upside down and everything that comes from it has a greater weakness to fire than anything else.
i went to hs in the 70s, and the 80s weren't a lot different when it came to certain things. the people i knew who sold drugs weren't big time gangsters in any way. the small town pot provider was usually selling small amounts so he could afford his own smoke, so eddie wasn't by any means the big time drug dealer trying to get everyone to buy so he could get rich. usually they got enough to provide for their friends and maybe some friends friends if they trusted them. that's about the size of eddie's career, i think. reefer rick may be another story, jail time and all. and of course, chrissie, the straight arrow cheerleader, was trying to block the terrible nightmares and visions, self medicating, as it were. btw, she's the daughter of the stare of 'starship trooper', casper van dien. i can't remember his name in the film. he was also in sleepy hollow, with depp. i don't really know what else.
There are steps to the murder, so he starts one and as it reaches its end, he starts another one. But Vecna is the easiest thing to call him, though I can almost see a funny scene with him having no idea what it means. But its not clear what name he actually identifies as (you will learn them all). But brace yourselves for the next one....
Well they were showing us from the first episode that he wants to be popular and tired of being bullied, he literally said that and they were implying that Lucas is going with the popular kids so I think it's fair to believe it's possible for him to betray them for being a part of the popular group. I'm really glad he didn't but the show wanted us to think that
Sorry i'm late with this comment. But, i binge every Video since 1 month of Bridgeco and I LOVE all of this. But the Lorna Shore referances (whats my favorite band is) are sooo good. 😅😂
I love how in season one when Mike's getting bullied, El breaks his bully's arm and makes him pee his pants. All Mike does is say "What did you do?" and then give her a guilt trip.
