People are afraid to fall forward, and won't punch. Herewith we, in fact cancel this word “to fall”. You won’t.

Coach Frolov cited Marx right at the beginning of the video. Great video as always 🥊 A good example of what Coach Frolov is teaching us is the Wilder vs Price ko. The jab and partially the right hand follow the physical principles the coach is telling in this video

Can long guard use by short person?
@BTboxing
@BTboxing 9 месяцев назад
yes absolutely, long guard is used for quick punches, blocking vision or offensive traffic, it can be used to break posture, you must use it at the correct range

the guard will depend on the range and distance. it changes when your opponent moves around. be flexible, work with all distances, Close range, mid range, long range

Dont understand the point. Someone can explain it?

Seems like he's saying that some people are hesitant to throw punches that may cause them to overextend and get countered. If the punch is out of sync with the movement of your body (too early or too late, it opens you up to counters). However, if the punch is in time with your forward movement, it also acts as a built in defense.
@kaisalis7895
@kaisalis7895 2 месяца назад
@@danieldarby9953He's also saying that people are afraid of losing their balance or being off balance when they punch long. This can lead to an easy knockdown for your opponent if they do counter you. So if you sync your movements with your punches you're much more stable and in the event you do get countered you're more or less ready for it

can someone tell him that the hand going forward is NOT guaranteed to protect you lol :D The opponent can throw a check hook or slip and counter-punch at the same time. Pretty much any punch has its counter and there's nothing 100% safe and yes, long distance punches are way easier to avoid, they take more energy (stamina). That's why boxers don't just jump at each other as idiots from the opposite sides of the ring. This coach might need to get closer to reality tbh. Or the translation was incorrect, idk

Bro.. idk about all the counters or what a check hook is.. but out of all the boxing instructional videos I've found his ones the most beneficial.. for me it's the small errors that the student is making which he points out that I find most helpful.. but I've never trained in the gym or had a single boxing lesson.. so I really have no business weighing in.. just saying, as a novice, I find his vids the easiest to replicate.

@@freak1sees714 I don’t wanna sound like an asshole but you can’t judge how good the instructions are, unless you have enough knowledge in this area. If this channel is good for you, enjoy. I’m not saying it’s bad, I just don’t like how he explains the theoretical part in this video. But maybe it’s just my opinion. PS go to classes, any RU-vid videos can give you max 1% of knowledge and skills, people must go and learn things in real life not just online. Good luck

@@angryktulhu I agree with you 100%.. I can't judge something I know nothing or hardly anything about.. that's exactly my point... That from a novice perspective, who doesn't know about anything technical, I find his applications are most 'user friendly' or easiest to digest. I wasn't defending him or breaking your balls.. just chatting.. lol

@@angryktulhuu can just look at the student and his ability to understand the pedigree, on top of that he did mention that no one throws these punches because you will get caught most of the time.
