this needs to blow up, my man are actually teaching boxing, where coaches at my local gym just say get in there, more jabs, keep your feet under you, hands up, get out there, etc. So I have to come here to learn actual technique from RU-vid. So why am I paying them, not you.
This is the best boxing instruction channel. This is exactly how coach interact with their students. Then students trying the exercise, and coach correcting mistakes. This is better than a coach looking and talking into camera.
I'm 1.78 cm (That is short for Dutch standards) I followed these instructions, and my skills against taller opponents went through the roof. I was on my opponent like a stinging bee. He didn't know what to do, or how to handle me. Great great great channel!!! Many thanks for all the help and video's!!!!
@@DwaddlesDasBewildered for real haha 😄 the man is so flexible in his movements, I mean yes I watch the boxes but I watch him the most and I see how he moves and you're right it it just looks most extraordinary right you don't know what to compare it to but like some kind of a large cat lmao
@@bugs4680 you can tell by the way he moves that he’s done it a million times. He’s fluid like water, but when he punches it’s like a whip of water finding it’s target. Truly amazing
what an amazing coach as someone who is 5”9 and i’m the smallest in my gym i have a hard time sparring the bigger guys but i’ve been getting in on the inside and showing them my power
I watched a lot of videos online about how to get inside, but he is the most helpful. The other video explaining how to slip to the right and change angles is something no one on RU-vid has done as far as I know.
The simple idea of moving forward in an assault just instantly makes you get that guy's like tyson were simply focused on this idea but the idea of basically walking with your shoulders and letting the feet follow is a great insight he gives in different words
Europeans are most technically fluid. Very specific on all details, it turns boxing back into an art rather than a brute sport like we think of it most of the time here in America. Beautiful to watch and perform in this manner.
@@MoneyManuel Yes of course, I too am a fan of floyd. But comparatively to guys like Lomachenko, Usyk, Bivol, etc. These are stylistically more beautiful to me in their technique and dynamics. It is very high intensity in nature and that is why very few use it in the pros however when it is used you can see just how out classed the american styles or the alike truly are (as seen with all the previously mentioned fighters).
@@MoneyManuel Loma was coming off of a 14 month+ ring rust and a damaged shoulder without those excuses Teo didn't have answers for loma when he actually began to throw. I believe if Loma comes in fresh without the aforementioned it will be a clear victory. After all Kambosos isn't nearly as good as Loma and pulled off the win. One more thing to mention is that Loma could stay in his natural weight class a be victorious for eternity but respectably moves up and fights heavier guys, he's one of the few boxers not just stacking his record but taking risks to become a high achiever. Definitely excited for the Haney fight (if it happens).
Would love a video for tips on a taller fighter keeping someone on the outside as well as how a taller fighter can properly go to the body since it’s rarely talked about.
Just spam jab. The keep away game is about making your opponent mad, frustrated, boring. Once the small fighter gets reckless the tall fighter can counter this full force, just like judo.
@@madmoonrabbit definitely challenging and takes a lot of stamina on both sides. I like to watch Loma because he displays beautiful foot work for getting inside and creating angles. But as a taller fighter I also like to incorporate that same foot work to create distance.
@@mtxh9572 Yup basically the good ol fundamentals but I would love to see more tips on going to the body as well besides the Mayweather jab to the stomach
You need combination punching. Mike Tyson had his uppercut to the liver then another to the face, then bam. I know there's ton of variations of how you can add body punching to your arsenal.
This skinny man is the scariest guy u can encounter on the street. Skinny body, white hair, wrinkles. With a perfect boxing and slipping combos and combinations. Thats crazy
ive never had a coach give me advice one what to do as a shorter fighter i had to figure it out myself and i never saw this but it makes sense ive been working on something like this with switching stances not i need to practice this muscle memory id liek a coach to actually say what to work on when inside too... they just say punch but its not halpful words i belive theres inside footwork thats ignored
привет, тренер, я очень рад узнать, что ты такой классный, у тебя есть страсть к боксу, я ценю это и уважаю тебя как русского человека. мой вопрос: как я могу тренировать спарринг без партнера, чтобы поднять свой рефлекс?
Japan is good at boxing but god damn they have too much stuff to say about our foreign boxing style. They want to change everything from what I learned in my other country
