Hey guys! We filmed this over a year ago now.. I abandoned it as I felt it was too rambly, but decided we all need to know about this chair and posture tips as it's a big issue full-time artists face!
I got this chair 2 years ago and I wouldn't be without it now. It's pricey but definitely an investment.

This is the first time I've got an art, home furnishings and posture lesson in one video. Great job! I have had a lot of chronic pain in my neck for 20 years. It was helpful to know it could be rooted in a problem elsewhere. Thanks!

I recently had a shoulder issue due to my desk being slightly too high for my chair meaning my upper arm was always up a little so being able to keep the upper arm in normal downward position is also important with the bend being at the elbow. I definitely need a new chair for sure...I'm in mid 40s now and already starting with that hunch at the top of my back and have had lower back problems for over 15 years now.. I find a lot of desk chairs are really poorly designed for posture...no support for lower back and pushing the head too forward which encourages slouching forward.

Yess so many little things like this can cause issues when we're sitting like that for hours on end engrossed in a drawing! Then you have to spend ages trying to correct it. I am starting to get a hump too at 27 😬
