Same here 95% of the people I know voted for reform and from what I gather, most of those people had the same experience. Makes you wonder if the results were even real.

i suspected as much myself they wanted labour in and were willing to do anything to get labour in i believe labour was utterly destroyed along with the torys but labour still had enough to retain power but more of a minority government and i believe reform should have had 17 to 20 mps

No, it's just that 14.3% of the vote won't win you many seats if you're the 14% in each seat. FPTP requires that you have about 40% of the vote to confidently win many seats. 14% distributed across the UK means you won't win much. 14% in small regional areas would win you more seats because you'll beat other parties. Labour tends to win easier on lower vote share because the boundaries favour them.

I would one of the people also who voted reform and yes most people I know of voted reform as well, the voting system is rigged you are right, I think its decided before we even vote who is taking over, yes I think all of the country should make a lot of noise until we the people get the result we want by another general election because I for one don’t want a labour government whatsoever.

We are being crippled and nobody is doing anything because it has gone comletely out of control. I want to know what the reasoning is and why do we feel 'obliged' to allow these people in. I am a taxpayer born and bred in this country and I can't even get a dentist appointment!

I’ve been saying this. Remoaners complained about the short difference in Brexit but lots of people came out to vote then. We should be having another election and make it compulsory to vote. The fact that Sunak called the election with such short notice didn’t help as it didn’t give people time to register. There should be a time limit as to when they can call a vote.

I live in Peter Dowd’s constituency. He was the “most popular labour mp” this election. His vote share was 10,000 less than last election. Reform had second place with a rubbish candidate, just think what could happen next time (hopefully with a stronger candidate)

They've been say the population is around 60 odd million since I was a kid and I see far more cars on the road now and far more people and houses, it feels like it's doubled so easily 80 million plus people nowadays. If it was still in the 60 million region then there would be no housing or NHS crisis.

Proportional representation does not enable for the MPs to be accountable to those that elected them. The number of sitting MPs in the House of Commons can fluctuate. This is why we ended up with first past the post, mainly to ensure that the elected MP is accountable to the people that put them there. If we did end up with proportional representation, it would depend on the model, you just have to look at Scotland and Wales how difficult it has been to eject an ineffective governor. Proportional representation comes in many guises, have a look at France and Germany at the difficulties they have had in past elections. Notwithstanding that the people within a constituency do not always use their rights, but that is a whole story/discussion on its own. By the way if you do not vote, then proportional representation is unlikely to work for you anyway, and certainly not in the way you would like it to.

80% of the registered Voters didn't Consent to Lend Labour the Power to be the Next Govt. in Parliament under The COMPACT of The Convention of The 2 Assemblies of the 3 Estates. The COMPACT is Embodied in 2 Separate Assemblies 1 which Represents the People called The Convention of the Estates or ( Assembly of the Communities) Representing The Lenders of Power , The Nation or People & The other Parliament or 3 Estates Representing The Borrowers of Power, those who make the Laws & Conduct the Business of Govt. On Behalf of The NATION , this Assembly Represents the Lenders of Power ( The People) & Their Rights & Interests . It Ensures The COMPACT is observed & obeyed :- That The Govt, Doesn't Overstep Its Limits, & that there is a means of Calling VETO SANCTION & REDRESS for The People if it shoud Do so & Ignore The Compact . as this Govt. Does Now.

8:04 Kemi would be good news for reform She has a woke VOTING RECORD despite her rhetoric She has no internet history prior to 2016 (was she a wokey before that?) That Borris Johnson parrot line can be turned back on Kemi "don't get close to Kemi you might get sidacosis(parrot disease) she is Michael Gove's pet parrot" Priti Patel is the worst option for reform as she isn't as easy to discredit as Kemi and she isn't as despised as Suella within her own party.
