For real, I don't think it's totally crazy to not have them on a Lariat, even with the ultimate package. But you move up to a Platinum/King Ranch, hell yeah you should have them. It's so stupid because instead of removing some of the fancy tech and other options from lower trims where people aren't looking for that stuff anyway, they're taking them off the higher trims 🤦♂️
here is something even more crazy. is that the 23s didnt have the multicontour seats. but the 24s will have them. and my 24 was just scheduled for production in oct 23. 2023. @@SliderFury1
I built a Lariat (350 CC LB) with Ultimate, Chrome, Max Recline, Moonroof, F/R Wheel Well Liners, Trailer TPMS, 5th Wheel Prep, Tough Bed, All-Weather Mats, and 4.30 gears. Everything I want, nothing I don't. An equivalent Platinum has a few nice additional features (like the Pro Power standard and the tailgate down stuff) but was ~$6,300 more with that same list of options. Not worth it IMO. Especially since I don't want the Pro Power. You can get a solid, more powerful generator for the $1100 that costs, and you don't need to idle your truck to run it.
I’ve got pro power on my 23 lariat high output and I can tell you it takes very little fuel to idle it a few hours. I also will have it in the 24 platinum HO I have on order. It’s a fun and unique 24v system.
A loaded F350 XLT Tremor 6.7 HO with NO sunroof, NO tailgate step has a whopping 4224 payload! If you need leather seats, you can jump up to a Lariat base NON ultimate and still have a 4100 payload. Ford forces you to get the ProPower when you get the Platinum as well as many other options but you can still decline the moonroof on all trim levels. Only thing thats nice about Platinum is you get those projector headlights and LED tail lights/plate lights . But Platinum is gonna set you back 300 pounds of payload vs the XLT
I wish Ford would offer the Black Appearance Package on the higher trims! Lariat Ultimate is the highest package you can get that still offers the BAP. Sport appearance is close but not quite the same. Also, my own personal opinion, I do NOT like the huge chrome placard on the tailgate with the KR and Platinums (and Limited?).
THANK YOU for this video! I was really starting to regret getting the sunroof worried that my Payload was going to really dip down. I want to put a truck camper on my truck and I need all the payload I can get. I got the Lariat with the camper package so I hope it will be able to handle a 3,300 pound wet camper with room to spare for all my stuff! This gives me hope. Even if it cost me some weight, I will remove the tail gate when I put the camper in so that will save me a lot. Thanks again. I wish I could find the exact truck I ordered in your videos, but I guess I will just have to wait a few more weeks and see.
I remember seeing a chart for the F150 that showed the effects of each options weight. FX4, moving boards, tailgate step…all of it weighs something and takes off of payload. Can’t remember where I found it, it’s hard to find this stuff lol! It was a link on one of the forums…
They have an options weight list for the Super Duty too. That payload capacity on the sticker should factor in the weight of each optional item on window sticker and the base curb weight of that trim level.
JB would you just do a 250 or 350. I am ordering a 24 tremor and thinking I may jump to a 350. I tow an airstream gvwr around 8k. 27 ft. Just think about ride and payload thanks
Lariat ultimate has power folding steps, HUD, and everything else that a platinum, included. Pro power onboard is useless if you want to run a real saw. Your video is invalid. The interior is absolutely true. The platinum is better. Lariat can come with the sport appearance package or a blackout package. You're gong to spend more than that to take the truck to a body shop to get it painted. Lots of false info here outside the truth of not knowing the headlight style. If you can get a lariat with projector headlights, that would be money. No one cares about the wheels unless it's a tremor. They'll buy something else. Ultimate comes with ultimate and led taillights. I think we need a redo of the video.
My lariat ultimate has the HO powerstroke and 88k, that truck is not 5k better. I'm the opposite of you, I think the Platinum is dumb since it doesn't have much more than a lariat ultimate but has a lot of extra cost.
I just put my order in 3 months ago for a 2024 Lariat F350 Tremor package and I can't wait to get it.... did you get your F-250 yet, I'm just curious to see how long these trucks are actually taking the build
@@STATION26ADDISON hey! I ended up going with the 350 as well. It took about 6mo to arrive. When yours get in, let me know it’ll it leans left a little.
I just wish that Ford would get rid of the cheesy chrome. Chrome should br an option package and I bet y’all it will not take long for them to get rid of it altogether because nobody’s going to want to pay for cheesy chrome😂
