DON'T buy a camera for YouTube without watching THIS 

You inspired me to finally start my RU-vid channel after thinking about it for years. 😊 I started with my phone and started posting shorts. Just hit 14k subscribers and I just bought a Sony ZV-II based off your recs. I’m excited to start filming long form! ✨

No need to shoot in „Most Compatible“ and without HDR when you edit in Final Cut Pro. Final Cut does all for you, it uses „High Efficiency“ smoothly and converts HDR to SDR on an SDR Timeline automatically.

I just started my youtube channel and I’m filmming with my IPhone. It’s really good. I bought also a Potensic Drone but I still have a lot to learn. In the future I dream about a Sony ZV 😊 but for the moment I’m trying to grow the channel 😊

It's awesome to learn about new cameras and which is best for what function. I use my phone exclusively for now, to post more on RU-vid and other platforms. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and got a HyperGear charger to go with it for faster charging; it really does work fast! It can charge up to at least 80% in less than 30 minutes. I've seen the small fuzzy mics that ppl use sometimes, they seem to be of quality recording; would you recommend those? Thank you for the Skillshare subscription! Excited to see what I can learn from that 👍

HDR is literally the devil I’ve been having the worst time

So I’ve been shooting with my Canon EOS80D since it’s what I already had for blog photography and I dropped my lens this week 😭😭😭 Now, I can’t decide if I should just buy a new lens for my Canon or just get the ZV1 or ZV10 for RU-vid videos since it will cost me the same as a new lens. The other lenses I have are prime lenses that won’t give me wide shots for videos. I suppose I could switch to my phone, but then my videos would be downgrading in quality and I kinda hate that. Thoughts?!? I had the ZV10 in my shopping cart this week but didn’t pull the trigger yet!

I have a canon G7x Mark II and I’ve found that even when fully charged, it looses battery SO fast specially when filming even just 30 second content is this just normal?! ….its been like this ever since I bought it so I’ve always just used my iPhone but I really want better quality videos….

Loved this video! We started content creation 5 years ago and spent WAY TOO MUCH on "must have" camera equipment 😭 because all of the other content creators at the time said we needed them. 🥲 We did not. lol We used our phones most of the time anyway. haha
