Thanks for your video! Are homes this close to a retention pond automatically in a flood zone? Also, does this model include impact windows? And, are the opening for the bifold doors in the pantry and closets wide enough to replace them with a standard door? Thanks again!
@@coralpetals To answer your questions: 1. All land has a flood zone rating. This house/community is in X flood zone which is the lowest. Having a pond does not increase the chances, it actually provides run off to try and avoid it. 2. The home in the video does not have impact windows. If you notice little spikes above and below the windows (you'll notice at the beginning of the video before i enter on the front window) that's where hurricane shutters can be installed which come with the home. This builder does install impact windows but they are an upgrade and would have to be chosen at the time of building. 3. Yes they are, the reason they are using bifold is that the door would be tight with the island in the kitchen or the entrance to the ensuite bathroom. Hope that helps!
