I’m really sorry to hear this is the experience you’re having with the M1… if they were smart they would simply honor the warranty or steeply discount a replacement given how close you were to the expiration window.

EU rules say a 1-year warranty should still be taken back and repaired/repaired free of charge for up to 2 to 5 years according to the German court/EU ruling

The electronic shops here have a 24 month warranty. I thought that was EU law?

You should buy stuff in the EU - it has to come with a 3 year guarantee, and parts availability for 10 years
