Blame Nike: reselling exists due to scarcity. If Nike really wanted you to have these they would make enough stock to satisfy demand: everyone would get pairs and there wouldn’t be an incentive for resellers.

Comparisons of these to the Travis are waaaay overblown. The only similarity is the mocha color way, which seems like an afterthought on the travis and the primary reason behind this release, which is to capitalize on a new iteration on the popular black toe

The comparison to the Travis’ is waaayyy overblown. The dark mocha on the Travis seems like a secondary thought. Coincidental. These are basically taking the black toe and playing with it to create a new twist to sell more sneakers. the dark mocha (only similarity) is the whole point of these.

@@philipprathkolb6924 Yoooo Philipp so from what I’ve know there’s a few differences. Usually a Retro High has jumpman branding on the tongue and on the back of the shoe. The cuts on a Retro High are different than an OG. The OGs have Nike Air branding on the tongue, and are truer cuts and shape from the originals jordan used to wear. I could be wrong. And If I am, someone can comment and school me too 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

They are cleaner as they follow the Jordan 1 formula. But the Travis Scotts are iconic Jordan 1 with so many of his personal touches around the shoe besides the backward nike swoosh. When you have them in hand you will know what I am talking about. I like the Travis Scott better even though I will be trying to get the mochas.

IMO these are 8.5/10, knowing the TS1s change color in hand when you rub the suede, and the leather on those are like Shadow/Bloodline soft. These are just the best release of covid year, seeing the hacks and biohacks that have released. It’s been a major SB Dunks and Air Max year, that these really are probably the best AJ1 high to release this year.

9/10 for me. I’d give it 10/10 if the leather around the collar was black instead of white.. I like the Ts 1’s cause I like 1’s but not a Ts fan at all so I couldn’t pay the resell on the for that alone. I also like the Ts 6 but again don’t own it cause the Ts name tied to it.. quality on these look on point! Two pair minimum for me.. think resell is gonna be $350 off the bat and end up a 500+ shoe

I think buckets it’s straight up right. I rate the travis Scott’s at a 9 and these I think are like a 7.5. And I say that cause the the backwards swoosh does it for me.

Just picked the up used pair for $150 from Facebook Marketplace. Only worn once no box and they passed the Check check app. Glad I saw these instantly

7 out of 10 for buckets is praise to me. Was able to get a pair today and I couldn’t be happier. I couldn’t get the Travis Scott’s it was simply impossible. Definitely needed a brown shoe and to have it as a Jordan 1 just made me even happier. Love the work guys. Another great review keep up the fine work. Anything else would be Uncivilized 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I’m with buckets on this on, if color is the only factor that matters in the “desirable shoe ‘light’” discussion, then why don’t people call any royal, black and white Jordan 1 the “fragment light”. This shoe stands on its own, even if it shares one color with a more desirable one, if anything I think it’s the “classier version” of the travis, w/o all the gimmick and hype.
