@@mymagicemily Euphoria looks very pink next to Condensate. Condensate is much more plum and desaturated. I am a pale olive and both of these shades are flattering on me. But they are definitely different enough that you can own both.

The grid/brady bunch comparisons are SO helpful. Skin-twin here, but also freckle twin! thank you for showing us these on your nearly naked skin, cause it really is different the way the ones that shift play well (or don’t) atop freckles! 🤩

I am medium with cool undertones so blush can be challenging. I absolutely LOVED intense colours in the first edition of Kosas blushes so am excited to try these! I also love the sheen that the bronzer gives and it looks like it will be replicated with these blushes. I think that these are going to be great. Thanks for the deep dive!

Hi I just wanted to say that I’ve been following your channel for a few years now and it has really helped me on my journey to understand color and how much it can really change my face if I know which tones and hues to use. I am a SE Asian so growing up I thought I had a golden or yellow warm undertone because everyone else around me was so. But 2 years ago I was in Sephora and swatched a cool toned Lancôme concealer and it was like my perfect match. Since then, I used your videos to explore new eyeshadows and blushes that complemented me and it really changed my look around. I got so good at recognizing what shades looked good on my light olive desaturated complexion that when I saw Kosas’ euphoria swatch, I knew it was the perfect shade for me. So in this video you don’t have my skin tone but you recognized that this would be perfect for fair olives had amazed me since nobody ever speaks about us. I wish reddit gave you more credit on how good your eye is with color theory because it is actually remarkable. Thank you Kackie and I will continue to watch your videos!

GIRL! this video, all the info you included -- swatches, face applications, formula analysis, comparison swatches and discussion -- you even mentioned pricing for a lot of products -- so incredibly helpful!! and so dangerous for that makeup monster within me that wants at minimum 3 shades of the kosas😳😳 especially considering the dewy blushes haus labs just dropped. ooo I need to rein myself in😭

Light-medium olive leaning golden here and OMG every. single. blush. turns peachy orange on me. I’m just trying to find a solid “pinkish/rosy” color but ya girl is STRUGGLING. I have been searching for a mauve-y pink that doesn’t turn ashy or muddy on me. I’ve been debating between Euphoria and Swoon. Swoon is totally in my comfort zone but looks like it has a little more brown, which I’m scared will learn orange. 😂 Such a ridiculous struggle to have, I know. Thank you for your super in-depth review, Kackie! Love how you talk about which skin tones and depths these blushes would work for. Much appreciated. ❤

Not a ridiculous struggle, I am light neutral olive skin tone, and the struggle is real. All my blushes do turn orange on me too. I just recently learned you have to go purple to get pink and I agree. That is why I wanted the new Dior Lilac which I haven’t gotten yet. I do like Hourglass Diffused Heat on my skin tone even though it is a pinky coral shade.

I tend to be more of a lurker/video thumbs-upper most of the time, but felt like I had to comment to say you did such a fantastic job on this video! The face swatches at different application amounts, the comparison swatches, all the helpful info about the differences in color saturation and shimmer intensity, identifying the mappings between the lower and higher saturation colors...don't get me wrong, I LOVE the chaotic energy you bring to the channel in other videos too and would certainly be sad if we lost that, but this structured style was really impressive in its own right. I don't know much about video editing, but I'd guess it was more work to edit too. Would love to see this video format continue to be sprinkled in for future videos! Really cool to see you experimenting with different video formats ❤ thanks for all the content you make for us!

These are very beautiful blushes... I am loving the butterflies color the most! It is the perfect shade of cool-toned pink and it definitely would suit a blonde with a cool-toned complexion like me 🤗🥰 These have a lovely baked gelée satin finish as well, which is my favorite type of formula of blushes. Sisley's L'orchidee blushes have this formula too, which are also lovely. And I am loving the new Chanetecaille Sunstone blushes.

Does it mean that you have olive undertone? I'm still understanding colour theory on the skin. Pink often turns fuschia on me and I think it's because I have strong yellow undertone.

OK, but when you said that olive mixes with butterflies and euphoria to reach pink...this explains why I love purple makeup. Pale olive skin is so funny. I didn't even know I had olive skin until I went to geology field camp and was outside for 2 months straight basically and my tan was green. I was green. This makes so much sense. anyways these look so cool.

regarding Euphoria: i am a very pale cool olive and it looks on the lighter swatch like it's something that could potentially read very brick/ruddy/extremely unflattering on me. does the lilac/purple shift only really come through when you build it up, or do you still get it in a sheer wash?
