Several of these reviews are from a negative POV. But its good to know I can come to this channel and get that perspective because its tough to find people who give transparent opinions because everyone is waiting to receive free buds to review.

I have the galaxy buds. Should I upgrade to these bad boys? Edit: not buying these anymore lol

It seems he was under the impression that he liked the Sony XM3s better, which I can understand. One thing he failed to mention, however, is that the Sonys are not water resistant. That was personally why I went for them even after watching this and plenty of other reviews comparing other options as well. I just want to point this out because he made it sound like the XM3s were the clear winner in every regard, which isn't really accurate.

@@calvinshuck5395 okay sure, the xm3’s aren’t the greatest, and not for everyone, but neither are Bose, I’ve used both now for awhile, I choose Bose to go outside, but if I’m looking for my personal self, I choose the Sony’s because of the customization, but really at this time when I go out for walks I don’t really have the point to use water resistance since I put my hood up when it rains, if it ever does. But everyone has their opinions and I respect yours

Hope you try them during cycling. It basically amplifies the wind noise and impossible to use. I have just returned them back...

Got them on sale, replacing my old Sound Sports. Fabulous.

I repeat. DO NOT listen to this guys review. I had mine for 6 months and they don't work anymore. I haven't been able to get any support from Bose at all. They just tell me on their website support that I'm out of warranty. After 7 months? Yeah ok. I've thrown all my Bose products in the trash and replaced them. I have Sony XM4s for buds and they blow the Bose out of the water. Bose is absolute dog crap when it comes to customer service and quality of products. They sound good, but they don't last.

Even for iPhone users. AirPods are fucking trash. Constantly adjusting for a good seal, stopping music starting music. Terrible noise cancellation.

I recently gave the Souncore Liberty 2 Pro and Liberty 3 Pro a try and love them for their instrumentation. The 3 does better at delivering the mids and the treble is pleasantly higher/crisper than the previous generation. My main beef with both of them is they're still too identical to what pretty much every company has offered in terms of sound design. Sony is possibly the most guilty of this in my opinion with their recent XM4s being laughably bad; there is simply way too much glory given to hip-hop and modern pop as if it's the only genres in existence, and so people who really love music are instantly given a sound that only makes mainstream music sound good. In my opinion, every bud I've tried sounds too dark with the exception of the Libertys because they at least provide enough treble and mids to stand against the massive amount of bass. Something about the Liberty 3 Pros manage to beat the competition at their own game because instruments and details are more true to life in terms of tone and texture. The problem is that out of the box they still sound way too marinated in bass emphasis without enough room for instruments and elements that rely on the 400hz-1Khz range to shine. This makes everything as a whole sound muddy or puffy, dull or squishy- but not very natural. I know for a fact that if a pair of earbuds can make an electric guitar sound real then everything else that could ever exist within those frequencies will also sound real. I mean, I only say this because it's seemingly impossible for TW earbuds to capture rhythm guitar, lead guitar, or whenever Rudolf Schenker goes chunky low with his riffs in "Bad Boys Running Wild". It isn't just lead instruments, though, it can be confusing to make sense of drums in brighter-sounding music. For some reason Sony thought cutting the treble down to the point of sounding like dull thuds in a sea of otherwise natural bass would be an appropriate default for their XM4s. I hate them with a passion for that. The mids are also distorted to the point of sounding mechanical, which is something I've experienced on some wired JBL buds. Luckily the Liberty 3 Pros aren't distorted sounding but I do wish the signature sound was less fatty. The way they sound out of the box is okay for easy songs that aren't very busy and don't have a lot of midrange content. The only songs in my playlist that fit such a description are a few beats I made in an app- most of beats are full to the brim with activity but tend to sound good because they're saved with more kbps than the rest of my music. With Rock, Metal, or 70s/80s music it comes close but misses out on that raw edge that a power chord has, or the specific texture of a synth-line. Plus bass guitar would need more room to breathe so I can hear everything down to the individual notes and thumps. In a nutshell though they still sound nicer than everything else I've tried.

Left one doesn't work for me. It is second replacement. Totally dissapointed with bose. No time to chase this crap.

Just your experience, unfortunately :( . I had two pairs of QC30s, both showing the same failure - the rubber starts to become unglued on the neck section after 1-1.5 years of use. While one of them was replaced during warranty, the replacement soon developed the exact same issue. And by that time, both units were out of warranty, so I was SoL. So in quick succession (a couple of years), I saw 3 separate QC30 sets experience the exact same issue. That was the moment I started looking for an alternative for my ANC headphones, even though I had been a Bose user for many years...

coming from someone who recently bought them- they now have the volume controls, eq settings, and are $80 cheaper.

For real?? I was literally crying because I wanted to choose them so much because ANC and quality are my number ones but no volume control is a deal breaker for me. If this is true I'm wondering why no one else in the comment section mentioned it?

@@ninotitan Sennheiser is legitimately a good brand, probably the best alternative to Bose in my opinion. Though, everyone’s listening preference is different and this video was largely based on small details/opinion.

Yep, yep the only thing I would complain about after having these for a year is the size of the buds and the case. Other than that can't complain battery life is excellent and has not changed after a year. I continously leave them on less than full charge and have no issues with the battery life.

You say for had them in for an 11 hour drive but the battery only lasts about 6 on a single charge? Lol

@@scottmac studies have shown that if you cycle with earphones in you hear more than a driver without music on.

@@kingprone7846 That’s pretty much irrelevant. Drivers do not need to rely on their hearing to sense approaching vehicles from behind, etc. I'm curious who took the time to do those studies, though.

Seriously good value with the ANC factored in and still remains one of the most compact buds around that price point. They didn't fit that well for me as the buds are pretty small and light and had no wingtips (but others may be fine on this point) but I still recommend them highly. Hope that helps!

Same here. I'm constantly pushing them back in place, to the point I bought a pair of cheapies from Amazon to use when out and about. If one of those should fall out and get lost it's a lot less of a disaster (£20 / pair compared to £200 / pair ). What I did find helped with the Sony buds was switching from the silicon tips to memory foam, which seem to have a better fit and grip. They seem a little heavy for the silicon tips and wobble free when you're moving about. I tried various sizes and it happened with all of them.

No problem! I'm always happy to hear people watching and making decisions based on their own needs and preferences. Just because there are cheaper/more compact/more battery life options available, that doesn't necessarily mean it would be right for you personally. I just try to compare everything so you can make an informed decision of what's available and what you're getting or not geting. You will definitely enjoy them!

As a consumer, I agree that watching reviews can be both helpful and on the other hand, confusing/conflicting. I guess all you can do is find someone you totally trust (or someone who's opinion best aligns with yours) and put more weight in their opinion. That's what I do anyway! Thanks for watching.

Damn! Got my Bose QC Earbuds today and ... footfall sound is a total disaster! :( Miles worse than the AirPod Pros. Actually worst ever and as a ANC maniac I had them all (Sennheiser, Sony etc).I will immediately return the QCs and stick with the Airpods for now. To me the best in-ears with ANC still are the Bose QC20. Unfortunately not wireless - but with ZERO! footfall sound. Totally disconnected from the outside world. I hoped the QC earbuds to be the same but I was miserably disappointed. Shame on Bose >:(

My list is Sennheiser #1, Bose # 2, & Sony #3 in sound quality. Sony's will save you about $100 over the other 2 tho.

Not normal. I have sony over war xb900n sony wf1000xm3 and airpod pro and all are silent no white noise/static.
