I have ysl y edp and dylan blue, honestly i prefer dylan blue. I don't know about you guys but i love the scent of dylan blue so versatile and good for everyday use in any occasion
I’ve also heard a lot more people receive compliments with dylan blue as opposed to the other frequently talked about blue fragrances. All in all you just have to wear what you like and makes you feel good over listening to some of the people on here cause a lot of them just shit on certain fragrances because of popularity
@@jeanpierrefrederick5612 while dylan blue does have a more unique scent compared to other popular blue fragrances, however its performance is a huge letdown for me
While ysl y edp is definitely better quality, i think dylan blue goes with almost any occasion. And I'm a believer that higher quality doesn't mean higher price tag
Tf you mean its higher quality? Theyre both just the most basic designer fragrances. Yall really make up the most random stuff when it comes to fragrances
i intend to buy polo red extreme. how is it compare to HMX in term of scent? is it smell more natural ground coffee or something else that u prefer over?
@@Mike-oi2th Polo Red Extreme has much better quality, and a better balanced coffee scent, and I like the drydown of it a lot more than Halloween Man X, which comes off as kinda cheap smelling (at least up close) HMX is a lot less dense than PRE but it projects more, which makes sense since PRE's a Parfum. Also PRE has a orangey chocolatey opening, so if you don't like that then you'll probably prefer the HMX opening, despite it being kinda imbalanced. Big price difference though, so if you're just exploring that kinda dna then go for HMX since it's cheap
Also I'd need to do more testing to see how long PRE lasts, coz it's possible I go noseblind after a bit, but from what I've experienced so far I don't think it's as incredibly long lasting as it's hyped to be
I think that you’re almost always better to buy quality over quantity. I save for what I want, so I appreciate it more, and gain more confidence from wearing it
I just spent almost 200 on a bottle and have no regret at all I’m planning to spend 250 more before the end of the month high end niche fragrances is a way better investment than cheapies
@@DjGo99 you know it really depends on the fragrance you will never get the incredible performance longevity sillage and compliments on a simple designer It’s a whole different world Just sample some niche that you like then try the juice on the skin and you’ill see by your self
I personally think that Kouros is quite easy to wear since it is a bright day time scent that you can also wear on warmer spring/summer/ early fall nights
Dylan Blue absolutely knocks YSL Y EDP out the park but to be fair they are completely different scents. BDC is probably the natural “upgrade” option for Dylan Blue
I also own both. And I strongly disagree. For me, Dylan Blue doesn’t even come close in the Quality category. It’s not something I would ever wear to work or on a date. Smells great, but like a boujee body wash to me. Y EDP can be worn any time and anywhere. It’s my all time favorite fragrance!
@@wyattc1007 You wouldn't wear on a date or to work. LOL. Yeah ok. Dylan Blue is very tame especially on the dry down. You are obviously talking of the top notes which fade quickly. One can easily wear Dylan to work and especially on a date since most women enjoy the scent of DB. Guarantee DB will beat Y every time on the street
@@bigwin4222 Nah Halloween Man X is good in the air, but it's pretty imbalanced and cheap smelling compared to Polo Red Extreme and I can see how he gets a deodorant/toilet cleaner vibe from it
Hell no. Do not get ysl Y edp over dylan blue. If you want a better alternative, go for bleu de chanel eau de parfum or even better: roja elysium pour homme parfum cologne
Bleu de chanel is so overrated. Gives barely 1-2hrs of longevity with mild projection as opposed to YSL y that gives 8hrs+ longevity with huge projection.
@@devancuret2856 Wtf where are you from? Dylan Blue is like €40 and Y Edp is like €80 for 100ml and those are full retail prices. If you're paying more than 100 you're being ripped off hard
Sometimes it's better to go for the affordable option... Like, when Christmas shopping for other people that you're not trying to spend a ton of money on, but you still want to give them something nice.
Technically you're still over paying because fragrances are very cheap to make, like creed aventus, and the dry down for club de nuit is longer lasting than creed. In my eyes that's better.. longer lasting
Hm I like your videos but disagree... you've named some really great fragrances to not buy... I own YSL and chose to purchase Dylan blue because I love the way it smells... its not that one is the better version of the other, they're different.. I find YSL EDP to be a bit too strong for my office wear
For me the Polo and Man X smell VERY similar. Halloween feels more synthetic but that's about it. It's not only cheaper but easier to get as the Polo is discontinued. Also both are better than Uomo Signature imo.
Ysl Y is fantastic stuff. The EDT is probably the nicest of the range for me, but longevity lets it down. Dylan Blue is fine, but as you say, Y EDP is top notch 👍🏼😎
Lately I’ve noticed that even though I like this guy I disagree with so much off what he says😂🤷♂️Versace Dylan blue is a far better scent in every way than YSL Y ….I wouldn’t buy YSL Y again,Dylan blue is a must have in any collection…with respect 🙏
Ik it is discontinued but i really want to own it and came across a bumch of sellers on ebay. The issue is i dont know of they are real, so the question is do you know any legit reseling websites or is ebay legit?
It’s so true for Kouros. I found it for €50 for a 100ml and thought what a bargain it is. Only for me to find out I just don’t like it. It’s not for me. While I really wanted Antaeus, but thought Kouros will do as an animalic scent.
I kinda regret buying Calvin Klein One.I bought it due to its price for 200ml bottle is very cheap.Should have stick to more expensive stuff like chanel ,jean paul,Paco
Would you allow that to change your mind if the fragrance smells great? I usually buy fragrances based on my love for it not because someone said it's nice or not nice
Bollocks Kouros is not affordable at all is over 100 euros, like Anteaus . Ted Lapidus pour homme ( same vein as Kouros ) is affordable at 20 euros .And between Kouros and Anteaus ,allways Kouros .
Good to see an actual comparison from an influencer rather than some stupid quirky white suit and 10 lines of coke forgetting the topic of video within 5 seconds
Well everyone has different performance on fragrances, idk if your going nose blind or not cause me I got a good scent bubble for about 4-5 hours before it becomes a skin scent the next 2 hours
I’m not really sure about that. I have gotten a compliment from a friend in the 12th hour, and he was sitting 2-3 feet away. So, check your bottle I guess.
Lol. I don't want to hate but this vid is a bit all over the place. Dylan blue and YSL Y cost similar. Both are still good. I don't know why the 2nd pair is even in the list. I wouldn't buy either. Don't know much to comment on the 3rd pair tho.
