I can shorten the shocks, flip the steering assembly, buy new wheels, body posts... and build a decent touring car.. but why not get a good touring car to begin with. I just found too many problems with this carbon fiber chassis to say it's worth your money. Check out the aluminum TT-02 clone instead. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-481psd18MwY.html
I have one and mine is great, yes I bought with cf shock towers and Hard plastic tires, this weekend in a speed run it got 114km/h on 2s, stable and straight like arrow, and I got this on vídeo
I built 2 TT01 carbon fiber cars. Other than having to upgrade the drivetrain, They run great. Servicing the diffs are annoying, but they are speedrun beast on 3s. Just find what fits you and tune it
Did you get the ones with the carbon fiber shock towers and hard plastic wheels? Did you have to rebuild the steering? I'm curious if I just bought a bad one.
I ordered the same exact one. I noticed it was a bit off. I'm guessing to avoid legal issues for making and exact 1-1 clone, the made some changes. I don't hat the genuine tamiya to compare to so I appreciate you making this video
@@havingfunwithtaegan6624 I'm trying to sort out the steering linkage but can't find any good images for reference. And it also looks like the spacers they use are flipped top to bottom. It's not unusable but it might throw off steering geometry.
