I really appreciate your comments on being very confident of the full price of buying new (including all components) and buying used (including all components). Shipping costs matters! I have seen a lot of used curriculum that is offered for sale by a family--but they price it so close to the price of brand-new that it's not really worth taking on the risk of second-hand shopping (no customer service, etc.)
Same. I feel like people want so much. Normally, after shipping, and if you need the student guide, they want more than new would cost. It always amazing me that people buy used for the same cost of new.
Another tip buying workbooks: I bought a workbook from a reputable online reused book store. However, when I got the workbook it was all filled out already. From that point I buy new workbooks.
Great things to think about! Oey, I totally did the piecing curriculum together, only to find out I needed a LOT more than I thought I did and it was a huge headache! I appreciate the advice!
I love buying buying uses curriculum. My struggle is that I get so excited and buy things without first asking "how will I incorporate this into our studies. At the end of it all I buy things that never get used and end up buying new😬
Thanks! I’m not officially doing it bc it overwhelms me but I am using some things like dry brushing and not using a towel on my head after showering like I used to. One day I might fully by in but I’m a super low maintenance (in terms of beauty 😂) person.
