I'd love to know whether these orchestras are composed of the more gifted students or are they typical of the normal classes for the Music School? Also, are these schools an extension of the public high school/college curriculum or are they independent schools meant for those interested in a music-related career? What is a typical term of study - a semester, a quarter, a year? I am so impressed with these presentations and the quality of the sound and video! To see for yourself what a difference the video makes, listen to the music only without watching; then watch the same passage and see how much more clearly you can hear the individual instruments when you watch the close-ups of their playing and how they relate to the whole sound. As you watch other orchestras on RU-vid, you will start to realize what exceptional talent these Music Schools and Video/TV Academy in Poland are producing. Outstanding!
These are regular state music schools. They are not exclusive to gifted students only. Naturally, all students must learn to play their instruments, but the schools employ general curriculum. Most of the graduates never really become professional musicians, instead they engage in regular occupations. Thanks for your appreciation of Academy of Film and Television's work. @@AkademiaFilmuiTelewizji I come from Cleveland, Ohio in the USA. We are very proud of our orchestra. It is to be sure a long distance--about 4500 miles--but I believe if any number of these players auditioned here they could become part of the Cleveland Orchestra's "next generation" as the older current members retire.
@@071949 Have you contacted the administrative departments of any of Poland's state music schools? Have you any of the students in mind you'd like to see come to the United States on a college scholarship? It is a shame that so many of these talented young people will not have an opportunity to pursue what could turn out to be a brilliant orchestral career where there may be slightly more of a chance to expand further. Let me know which students you would like scholarship opportunities for and I will put together recommendations for their possible transfer to U.S. universities. Remember, Roger, that some of these videos are several years old and these young musicians may be pursuing other fields, so if you want to provide me your email address, I can better work with you offline. Thank you for your interest.
@@AkademiaFilmuiTelewizji these young people were keeping classical music to live here but most of them wouldn't engage to music career. Sounds sad to me. I really wish that I will see some virtuoso from this orchestra or at least they will carry-on in other orchestras around the world. Anyway, wish you all the best. ♥️🇵🇱
My granddaughter took several years of violin lessons. I was so happy when she was finally able to play in a performance with some adults when she was about in 7th grade. Anyway, she gave it up. Not sure she was guided or encouraged sufficiently. I lived in another state and had less influence than I hoped for.
I have been to Poland and I like very much what I saw. But these musicians and their music sre simply stunning! I would love to attend any of their concerts given the next opportunity.
Every time I watch this video I find more things that impress me about the perfection achieved in so many aspects of the presentation. If one compares this video to others of a similar subject, the attention to detail becomes more evident. From the camera work with the slow, steady zooms and pans and masterful composition, to the timing of the cuts from scene to scene, to the incredible separation attained in the sound recording; this is surely a perfect demonstration of the craftsmanship being taught at the Academy. And the superb talent of the young and vibrant musicians under the direction of Mr. Kucybała makes it a performance rarely equaled in my lifetime. His shoes will be hard to fill after his retirement!

Marta (flute), Alicja (oboe), Maja (oboe) and Adam (clarinet), as well as the other members of this orchestra, magnified the musicality magnificently recorded by conductor Andrzej. Congratulations! 👏🤝
This is an AMAZING performance! I am so glad to see younger people taking up the mantle of orchestral and movie music, and performing it like this! As I write this, I am approaching 60, and I am the *youngest* member of our regional orchestra's string bass section! So that others are following in my footsteps heartens me to no end. The articulations by all of the musicians is so superior to so many orchestras comprised of people this age, and the recording quality is impeccable. Bravo to all who are involved with this performance. Thank you for sharing it with us! Greetings from Northern Minnesota, USA.
We also played it in the student orchestra and it was my first big concert. I get goosebumps while seing that because it brings back good memories🥺 Thanks you
Was feeling down in the dumps and came across this (or an earlier version) Orchestra. Captain Jack pulled me in, Swan Lake, Polovtsian Dances, Sound of music, and many others later, I still sit in admiration of all who make up this and prior versions of this Orchestra. Yes there may be the odd bum note (to my 65yo ears) but overall, I just shake my head and congratulate you and Poland for producing such talented musicians.. and the musicians themselves. Now any tears are in appreciation of the musicianship. Thank you.
That was quite simply, an incredible & very remarkable performance. As orchestral arrangements go, you will hear no better. Such superb & talented musicians on show here.
