Sinéad always just sang. No gimmicks, no devices, no lipsynching, no autotune, no big production. Just her beautiful voice and a microphone. And she was so compelling. There truly aren’t any top-tier singers like that anymore. We’ve lost a legend.
I NEVER cry….but when I saw on the news that Sinead died I wailed like a little baby ! Your journey is now over and you left your mark on millions of your fans ! You will be dearly missed !
Her journey.. was her never ending shout..I think.. She did sing very well..But.. It was not just a song, she did sing.. It made you feel..So sorry.. I could not understand.. she wanted to be a Moslima..Scarfs?
Beautiful voice Another Elaine page But she decided not to be too famous Given her child experience Am not a great fan But these song's Born for her Also nothing compares ❤
Sinead's passing hit harder than I expected. Of a similar vintage to her in age, Nothing Compares blasted out when I was at university. What a searing and enduring image, her looking straight down the barrel of the camera for that video. We all have our struggles, she was so authentic about hers. And now here we are. As others have said, a true hero for people, rather than the heroes we are normally encouraged to aspire to.
Sinead you're wonderful. Pure, powerful in a modest and respecful way. Music lovers in Hungary are crying for you. I adored your heartfelt soul and always will deep in me.❤🖤
How beautiful! I always loved her music! ❤ I wish she would be still alive and continue performing herself with her songs ! A legend has left the world ! I thank you Sinead! I have loved you since the 80 ies and still love you ! 😘
Listening to this song reminded me of the Falkland wars.. hmmmm.. our Argentina's pilot were brave and sunken many ships of the axis.. hmmmm.. They were forced to use their nuclear submarines to sink our Vikram.. hmmmm.. I guess we had learned to deal with bulky under water beast now.. hmmmm.. we need another Falkland war to settle the score.. hmmmm.. 😔
Thank you my Angel😢
Farewell, owner of a difficult fate and an unforgettable voice. We are very sad and will remember you! ❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤ 🙏
For the first time, I had to stop a video to put on my headphones, what divine music. Not a bit over the top, as unfortunately many singers are at the moment. It sounds so light, it sounds so natural, I'm crying!
Okay, but she has personal problems. And her only child died from drugs. Her bald head to show she is unapproachable is a sign of emotional instability.
What a beautiful soul and I have to add that's the first time I've really noticed how beautiful the music is. Those violins into the chorus with the French horns... Brilliant. Rest peacefully sweet girl❤️
Haven't you ever heard of Sarah Brightman, Elaine Paige, Julie Covington, Madonna or Helene Fischer? Sinead O'Connor hasn't the voice for this song. It isn't the right song for her voice.
I have been listening to every version of this, Sinead nails it, but you should listen to Karen Carpenter's version, you will like that one also. My two favorites for this song.
Sinead always gave her whole heart to every song. She gave everything she had. And in the end, there was nothing left--but when she was on the stage, she lived as few of us can dare dream to live.
She stands there. She gets that song across so perfectly. With just her voice and her beautiful, sensitive face. No hands waving about. Her voice is her strength and we are blessed to be listening to her all these years later. ❤️
Loved her as the young string Irish woman she was then, I do think fame and fortune ruined her tho and those around her allowed it to wreck her life. Shame because there was so much more inside her that never got a chance to come out .
Such a beautiful, poised , brave young lady she was, She had such an angelic voice, Her inside emotions and mental struggles were more than most could bear, Yet she did in front of the entire world for most of her 56 yrs. I hope she is with her son and they are in each others arms forever. Rest in Peace , Sinead you will be truly missed. You made a mark on untold millions, and you were right! ( The Pope admitted it 10 yrs later. ) God bless her soul. Nothing Compares to her, her voice and passion.
