Because of some bad priest she denounce being catholic and thought the whole Catholic church was evil. Well, so blacks murder one another in record numbers, should we shun blacks?
I did not know until you walked away, that you had the perfect ass.Forgive me for not falling in love with your face or conversation. …. Leonard Cohen.
Who listening to this beautiful soul in 2024? Her voice and style is so pure and genuine! She is very unique. Her voice does something to me every time I listen to her! Rest in peace beautiful lady you will very much be missed! I'm sure I speaks for a lot of your fans ! Much love beautiful soul! I wish you were here to make much more music in this world today!
She called out all the devils including Prince who was an absolute monster who tried to attack her multiple times and insanely abusive in their encounter. She didn’t care how powerful someone was on earth, she chose to call out anyone that harmed others. Respect to an incredibly brave soul.
Show me an artist that shows such rawness, honesty and vulnerability. She did it her way. Her talent undeniably, her passion fierce. I hope you heart is healed now Sinead with loving arms around you 🙏🏽🇮🇪
@@Thudas22 I'd like to see Beyonce shave her head. Her persona is very different, sinead would wince at the thought of doing something like the 'single ladies' music video. I wouldn't call that raw or emotional or honest at all.
This is what I really love about her. Both Sinead & Dolores. Irish women really sings their heart out. Folk people's attitude. May the two reunites in Tír na nÓg. RIP
If her singing doesn’t do something to you, I don’t know what to say cause this is PURE GENUINE UNBELIEVABLE TALENT! rest in love beautiful Sinead O’Conner 🙏🏽❤️
Real music, real beauty, real character, real struggles, real human. None of us are perfect. And that’s the way it’s supposed to be. Love this woman. RIP
I'm a 77 year old disabled combat wounded veteran and I will say in all veracity and humility that I grieve over Sinead's trials, tribulations, and inner turmoil. If I could've traded places with her I would've. May God rest her soul.
In many artists it is their inner pain and life events that shapes their creativity. Your thoughts are very commendable, not everyone would have that empathy.
Reading all these comments, it's hard to find other words for this that hasn't already been said.. But if this would be the last performance I ever hear/see before I leave this earth, I would die a happy human with a smiling soul❤ Every second of this performance is flawless in every way. Thank you, Sinead❤
Rip Sinead, I love you for ever ❤
🥺 Bless those who turn their pain into art. And comfort those who can not find an outlet or their place in life. If you’re reading this, it’s not your fault. There’s nothing wrong with you. Wrong things were done to you. Big difference. Love yourself.
I am a Korean and when I was in the military when I was 21 years old When I listen to this song, I get a strong feeling. My youth at that time It's a song that reminds us of the times. I hope you have a beautiful dream in the sky, Sineado's concert Your song will last forever.
The most beautiful and haunting live performance I've ever seen. She was so powerful and passionate. Her pitch and tone go unmatched. I know she had a tough life, especially her childhood, but her tortured soul help make her the singer she was.
Do you hear that perfect pitch? I've never heard anyone with perfect pitch live. She's extraordinary, powerful, & insanely talented beyond measure. We were so fortunate to have been blessed with her presence in our lifetime. Its through all her suffering we witnessed one of the most significant icons of this era. Once in a lifetime gift from one if the greats. I feel so lucky to have been just one of the billions that loved, & appreciated all she had to offer. Wow!! I'm in awe & always have been. May you feel pain no more baby girl & may you finally be reunited with your Shane. Thank you for you gift. ❤❤❤💔💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭
Love how free and loose she is in feeling the music. Thats a true artist. Dances and moves on stage the same way she probably did at home by herself. Absolutely love to see it. Im a 25 year old dude jamming to this at work movin just like her lmao.
An incredible live rendition that sounds even more raw than the original. A huge talent, a force to be reckoned with, she wasnt afraid to be herself and speak out against abuse and injustice. May she find peace and inspire many to carry her torch.
O mundo nunca entendeu e entenderá a Sinead O'Connor.
I’ve watched this at least 100 times over the years. It’s probably my favorite performance of any song ever. The seamless back and forth between vulnerable whispering and balls out wailing. Absolutely fearless, brilliant, and profoundly powerful. What a gift. Thank you, beautiful lady ❤️
1000% agree. I know there are a lot of haters around, but you are so correct. Beautiful song, singing her heart out in her bare feet, just pure love and joy. Thank you for posting that.
Just think today, what they call divas, Mariah carey, celine dion , shania twain , etc, they dont stand a chance with her great natural voice, nothing compares for sure, today's music sucks with all the no talent singers , auto tuned robots.
@@dnakhlbi8779to be fair Mariah can sing. She's got a voice that's quite up there with Sinead. Celine not so shabby herself either. I think your comment it's correct about a lot of music this day was auto-tuned but the women you chose to use examples are not very good ones as I would think it's safe to say especially Mariah are amazingly natural beautiful singing voices. And then you even have exceptions Beyonce who may not sing everything in her live shows she's an entertainer and performer who absolutely could not pull off a performance like she does with the dancing and theatrics if she sang the whole time. It's not necessarily that she can't sing but physically it's almost impossible to sing and Carry out dancing to the extent she does for hours on end at the same time. And I'm not trying to put her in the same league vocally is Sinead not even close but I'm just pointing out that not every performer that uses auto-tune sometimes or lip syncs are talentless or can't sing. Sinead O'Connor was very unique and inspiring in many ways. But if you listen to her talk I would really think that comparing these other women to her or something that he would not want done simply because all these women are out there pouring their souls into their art to give their fans something they love.
What an amazing voice and individual. Spoke up for the vulnerable at a great cost to her own career. She said what she thought, she spoke the truth, she sang like an angel and she done it her way. What a legend, R.I.P you beautiful soul.
Very few women can pull off a shaved head, and still look beautiful. You had an angelic voice Sinead. No shoes jumping around on stage, and the crowd still loves your performance.
God bless Sinead an Angel from above that God allowed to be with us for such a short time. I hope that she knows how much of an impact and blessing that she has had on so many people. In 1990 was when I first heard this song when I was a senior in high school. Here now in 2024 and this song still hits my heart but for other reasons than it did back then. RIP and may God hold you in His loving arms Sinead. I guess I never noticed her Jacket with Jesus on it. Amen and thank you God.
I can honestly, relate to thynn of the words in this song. As to feel the words, emotion! Extremely, beautiful. A beautiful song, she is/ was amazing! Prayer sent❤ 5:33
Never seen her sing live properly. But this has left me absolutely speechless. There arent words that can express how incredible this is. Never seen someone sing with every inch of their body. And so so beautiful. What a loss to the world. Music today doesn't touch this kind of artist/song/performance. Just wow❤
I've never seen such a powerful and beautiful performance like this before. It's like she's singing and her soul is also singing at the same time. She gave us everything she had. Thank you Sinead. You will be missed forever.
You couldn't walk down any street major city on earth without hearing the voice of that broken angel . Her pain resonated through every heart that beat.
Gosh! Her pain and passion all mixed together and sung out from the broken recesses of her heart and soul. My mum died and I let her go…. Finally! Sinead is forever intertwined with her Mum through her songs. I am so sorry Sinead, may you find the Total love of the Lord in heaven with your son. I am so sorry your family did not believe your tragic child story. I do! I have been there sweet Sinead. How I wish I had your voice and talent to blast all that pain and anger and forgiveness out to the world! You are so blessed forever ❤❤❤ Thank you.
Finally after so many years we can enjoy a good quality video of this performance in Chile. At that time Chile was transitioning from dictatorship to democracy and Sinead did a great performance. All the people from Chile remember that concert, thanks Sinead!
This woman blew my mind so beautiful, mysterious until I saw her I’d never seen a woman sport a buzz cut and still be angelic!! She was incredibly talented and 100 percent UNIQUE ❤❤ RIP Miss O’Connor!
This is when you pour yourself a dram and take time out of the world and go to a place where Sinead is at with this performance..the beautiful lady the passionate performance the lost in the music the tough life she had the friends who turned their back the mother who didn't want her the beautiful girl just wanted to be loved..god bless you Sinead and you can now rest your soul and let blossom where ever you are x
Finally found it!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏 This is the best version of "Nothing compares 2 U" by her, imo!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏 No hair, no shoes; just raw, pure talent and emotions!! 🤗 🤗 🤗 R. I. P. Sinéad, you are terribly missed!! ☹️ ☹️ ☹️
So true. No auto tune, no lip syncing, no fillers, no thick make up. She didn't need any of that, she was just naturally gifted and beautiful. I hope she has finally found peace. ❤❤
If there was ever someone the world owes an apology to, its her. Bringing up a subject that ended up being true and she sacrificed her career to bring it out. Amazing singer gone too soon. RIP
I love how she ripped up a poc of the pope. Love her for that. Take that pope!! So many atrocities to humans mostly girls, women and children by the Catholic church.
Sinead had somethings in common...she suffered a abusive childhood.... Had no luck finding a life partner, she was married 4 times.... She had cronic pain... A meloncoly... deeply religious woman. She is no longer in pain.
wherever the waves leads you, Nothing Compares. God bless you and give you a awesome ride on the biggest clouds. Thank you so much for what you gave to us.
Her physicality during her performances was positively gripping. You can sense the feeling behind each line… beautiful. Such a tragedy we have to say goodbye to her. Rest in peace Sinead/Shuhada’
That opening line!!...anyone who listened to music in the 80s knows exactly what's coming... a perfectly written song...performed by an angelic voice.. 2 tortured souls perfectly aligned... timeless..RIP
Can’t stop thinking of her. So devastated she is gone. We lost a beautiful, talented, brave woman. Rest in peace you will never be forgotten you will live on forever through your beautiful expressive poetry and voice. Love you forever
"Nothing Compares to 2 U" is an anthem for my mother. She was murdered at age 21 while luring a stalker/kidnapper away from me. I was 22 months old. I'm 61 years old now and as hard as I've tried throughout my life, nothing and no one could ever fill the void of her loss for her only child. Today, June 8th, 2021 is the 60th anniversary of her death. Mother, Nothing Compares 2 U.
❤ A voice, unheard of. Her personality, her strenght and all her vulnerabilty showed quite clearly all her life. She was sometimes ridiculed 😢 but she's now untouchable, Sineád dear. Rest in the peace of the unseperable G*d whose face you were so desperately seeking 💜
A interpretação visceral da Sinead é dilacerante, e me tocava profundamente porque eu acompanhava a vida conturbada dela. 🙏
This is one of the most beautiful performances in the history. You can feel the sadness and the pain, love and despair in her voice. Iconic! So sad that she's not with us anymore. RIP Sinead!💜
She damn well should be. The world wasn't ready for her truths. We weren't ready. And we destroyed her for it. Such an amazingly gorgeous human being. And such a precious and beautiful soul whose brilliant light was dimmed far too early jading her and shattering her already broken heart. And we suffered greatly for it just as she did. Her music was never quite the same. It was still good and true. Yet it was missing the soulful, fiery, rebellious, and playfulness of her earlier works.
I turned my car on to drive my daughter to school today, and this was the first song I heard. MAN, I remember this song from when I was a child, but it captivated me today. The delivery was perfect. Better than Prince and I am a huge fan of him. But she definitely brought a little more out of that song than him. Bravo. RIP
I remember being speechless when I heard this song...and then just awestruck by her physical beauty.... RIP Sinead... The masses didn't appreciate your talent while you were here...but now that you're gone...maybe...sadly...your music will finally be appreciated. This song is hauntingly, achingly poignant.
