Don't Do This At Universal Studios  

I wore a Harry Potter shirt to Disney and my mom got the pictures thing that Disney does . We find this photographer and he’s really nice and pretty playful on directing us around. He suddenly stops smiling, sees my shirt and just tells me he can’t take the pic with me in it. I’m like super confused cause I didn’t get the shirt from universal plus it’s my first time so I have no idea what’s happening. He says that I’m wearing the competitions shirt, it finally clicks and we both start laughing. Obviously he says it’s a joke but it really helped. I’m from Canada and we took the photo near 7pm, at that point the Orlando heat has gotten to us all. Me and my stepdad just wanted to get the photo done for my mom so the jokes really helped lighten use up a lot, even while extremely sweaty 😂

At Disney land Paris you can find a homeless guy sleeping inside one of the rides

I wore Mickey Mouse shirt to Knott's Berry Farm, rode the railway loop and got called out by one of the characters for having a dead rat on my shirt

Once at the Universal Studios Hollywood animal show a kid was wearing a The Mandatorian shirt and he has been selected to help in the animal act. Then the dog pissed on him without being supposed to. The person that held the show then said "That's why you don't wear Disney at Universal folks"

Wait till y'all find out that Disney's recording studio and Warner bros are next to universal studios Hollywood, and that Disney has actually used some of universal studios sets for recording. And for those who have gone, you'll notice that USH does have some references to Disney in one of they're rides.

Once I was on a class trip to Six Flags and it was rainy so I wore a Disneyland hoodie with Mickey on the front. My friends and I saw Tweety bird and Tazmanian Devil so we all met them and took pictures, and when it was my turn Tweety covered up the front of my hoodie on Mickey’s face in my picture💀💀

I was going to the Universal City walk for the first time when I was like 8 and my dad made me wear a mickey mouse shirt. I argued that it was legally a crime and the entire time wore a jean long sleeved jacket. It was almost 80 degrees and it was at night. I dont regret it at all

I remember when I was at Universal I brought my stitch cap after my trip from Disney, one with just the floppy ears I adored going on the mummy ride so frequent, and at some point I came across a female character that I can't quite recall the name of, all I recall is the Cleopatra-like vibe that came from her and her outfit. I was always rather nervous when it came to the characters, even to the point I was highly against taking pictures with them often, but the way she looked at my hat and pointed in bewilderment at my stitch ears enticed me to do something. And so, I couldn't help but be a weird idiot by raising my hand, waving my fingers at her, and making a alienish sound at her //sounds like "balalala" but with a weird gurgle effect.// Her expression grew while keeping that tight lip expression at the same time, looked around her before giving the same wiggled fingers back, it put a goofy smile on my face. And it didn't end there, when we exited and still see the pharaoh on stilts, we managed to get a quick picture/video of the two people, who were flicking my stitch ears all the while, though the Pharaoh dug in a bit, was disgusted as a result and cleaned off his finger on his pants leg. It was my greatest memory, and I'm rather sad I can't seem to find that same stitch hat for the trip back there.

One time when I was idk how old, eleven or twelve or something, and I was wearing a Disney Cat Lady shirt from Disney to Sea World. It was the Christmas event, and my mom and I went to go get hot chocolate. The guy at the hot chocolate stand said "I'm sorry, I can't serve you." My mom and I were very confused and upset and were like "Why?" and he pointed to my shirt and smirked. We started to laugh because we knew he wasn't being serious, and then my mom said "At least she wasn't wearing a Harry Potter shirt!" And his coworker was like "Oh, he loves Harry Potter" and I immediately asked him what house he was in and he said Slytherin and said "I don't serve Gryffindors or Hufflepuffs." And i said "I'm Ravenclaw" And then he gave us the hot chocolate XD

I worked at universal and honestly never heard of anyone having a problem with someone wearing Disney merch. I also didn’t work with any of the photographers though. Only thing I could say is some international visitors did not know they were two separate companies, caused a lot of confusion.

most of Universal Studios employees are ex cast members, very few work in both theme parks. one of the older security guards also was a Disney animator; he worked on the Fox And The Hound.
