With Patch 7 to Sons of the Forest, you can no longer drink from any fresh water source like it is perfectly fine. Now you have to deal with Dirty Water. While Dirty Water will let you get by and survive, you are much better off if you can get some Clean Water. So how do you get Clean Water in Sons of the Forest? Watch and I'll show you.

I got severely burnt from the hot water, thank you very much! Just kidding. Thanks for the advice. I carry with me an empty pot which I couldnt use all this time.

my pot boilds witout a cap and i coocked my water for like 2 minues (real time) and still was not able ti get it clean

@@AurioDK Try moving the cursor over the gear and pressing "e", it worked for me

So this makes the canteen pointless? I stopped playing for several months, and some of these changes don't add anything useful to the game, it just makes you jump through more hoops.
