I'd like to add you can also fill the pot from the water collector and keep it in your inventory. You can actually drink from it. So you have 2 sources of water with you on your journeys.

I remember drinking straight out of the ponds and eating limbs of the cannibals... I have almost 400 hours into the game now

I'm sprinting around the forest for 7 hours a day carrying 300 lb logs, I don't think the soda is going to kill me boi

you have a third option: you can put the pot in your inventory once boiled and use it as essentially a second waterskin

By the beach( by the big ancher), you have a tent and campfire, there you also find a cooking pot

never bored watching your channel and the forest and stranded deep already improve that much

Hey Broadbent, love your vids! I found a "legit" bug how to duplicate logs as ropes. You have to build a crane then build 1 log and 1 rope you will get w ropes and 3 logs it's useful to get logs into your cave base.

I think, when the game just came out there was another way to get water. When it was raining some kind of a big leaf collected it and you could drink it from that leaf. But it seems like the developers just cut this out completely.

turtle shell is the easiest option for me. Keep up the good work.

I usually go insane looking for cooking pots in game lol, still kinda new and extremely scared of going too far from my base

I wonder if they nerfed the rain trick where you can fill pot and hold it in the rain to get fresh water

I did notice on your turtle spawning guide map that the cove near to the hut you gave directions for in your vid about getting the Map & Compass didn't have a marker on it... have they stopped spawning there? It's the cove that you have to go down to from the clifftop and climb down some rocks to get to, you pointed it out as you went past it to get to the hut... Shame, I have used it as a first location a couple of times just because of the turtles there!! >.

The cooking pot, "I believe there's only four in the game" but there's five circles! :p also the water collector was four sticks wasn't it? Learned something new with boiling the water though and I like these mini-guides to the forest, sure to come in handy next time I dare play the game some more! is the soda negative to use as main source when not on hard survival too? (not that far in yet so not noticed weight much)

I found out a glitch. I placed the pot on a campfire, and then placed some food above it, then the pot and the food popped up, the food was gone, and when I picked up the pot, another one spawned.

This game is a ton of fun wish I could play with a lot more people though

the forest looks so pretty now compared to some years ago c: Broadbent could you make a guide on the caves. I've never been able to get anything out of em. it's just too dark and creepy :p
