She actually did really good. Asking a two-year old to wait for so long, with temptation right in front of her, and nothing to distract her. Love how expressive her eyes and body language is, lol!
Definetely... Time is relative... and must be understood proportional. 2,3 Minutes takes up a much bigger pile in the life of a 2 year old, than for a 30 year old (who is 15 times older than the 2 year old). To be in proportion, its like waiting 2,3 * 15 = 34,5 minutes of waiting for a meal when you are hungry. 34,5 minutes are quiet long, when the yummy meal is right in front of you ;)
I wish I would agree with you but it's the same as comparing a big fail or a small fail. Both are failures. She didn't listen. I never consider participation awards to be an award.
If people are doing it with cereal as like a replacement for candy then I think that shows how much sugar is in cereal. Most kids won’t be that excited to eat cereal unless it was loaded with sugar.
Did anyone notice Sutan's corn hair tie, super adorable! I love how she started to show her impatience and was crying out for mom to come ahaha and began being sneaky and lying to mom acting like she was waiting , we love you Sutan
Sutan honestly has a lot of self control when compared to the toddlers I've seen. She waited at least two minutes, she drinks her milk and eats her corn without making much of a mess, not to mention, the dishes are made of glass! Most American parents wouldn't even dream of giving their kids glass dishes unsupervised, but the way you teach her patience and discipline is unmatched! Amazing video, I love your channel ❤
And most toddlers just learning how to hold & use utensils, seem to use the shovel or fist grip, rather than a more mature pencil type grip Sutan is showing here.
I knew she’d eat it because she’s a great eater. I give her a pass because she waited over 2mins, most vids I’ve seen didn’t make the toddlers wait so long. Also a pass because she’s adorable Sutan.
I dont like the lesson or example this teaches children. I think if dones at an older age the parent should at least teach them to say sorry. Cuz its weird to have them not feel bad after. I know it's just food but they could end up doing it to other kids at school and not feeling bad either...anyway i know its just a social media trend just made me think about this
Phases of Temptation 0:27 Getting the instruction phase 0:51 I don’t have to obey phase 1:03 Coast is clear phase 1:22 Corn so irresistible phase 2:32 Impatience creeping phase 2:53 I’ll just hold it phase 3:13 First teeny-weeny grain phase 3:34 2nd grain phase 3:53 Uncontrollable phase 4:33 Scooping like no tomorrow phase 9:10 En flagrante delicto phase 9:33 Thinking of an alibi phase 9:36 Admitting the crime phase 9:58 Cuteness as defense phase 10:47 I’m off the hook phase
Straight away she tries to distract herself with the milk, then physically tries to restraint herself by wrapping herself in a hug/fidget with her clothes. Then she calls mum but still doesn't eat the food until finally it all gets a bit too much. It's great that she had so many different ways of distracting herself because it means that her parents have taught her some strategies of what to do to be patient. We do it all the time as adults, distract ourselves until it's actually time. Self control is incredibly important for success later in life, and Sutan shows it in spades!
@@inouyde That's what it was, Sutan used the old Jedi mind trick! It worked on me, but I seem to be easily influenced by Sutan's mastery of The Force. Or her cuteness, I'm not sure which. 😁
What a sweetheart! You can see at 6:23 her wanting to use her fingers for the corn but instead she resists and uses her spoon. Her mother is a great parent!
Her mischievous expression when lying that she didn’t eat while having a mouthful of corn is priceless. Then when Moe telling her she wants to eat with her, she had a moment of guilty and try to act cute to make her mom happy. So smart, Sutan!
@Aurora lying to get what you want or need is something all kids can do. You TEACH compassion. Otherwise youll teach them the opposite. Something which if not taught at a young age will take much longer to reteach way after teens for sure if it can be done at all ...people need a moral compass. Teaching them about god their creator is the best thing at this age giving them a clear and the true purpose
@@Splashtoise well first you have to learn about god yourself...I wish I did since a kid, it answers so many questions and doesnt let you live only for the material world (physical world here on earth). Thats not the topic in this video I'm aware of that so...I can only end it by saying please find the time to learn about God because it's our responsibility in the end (we spend hours online just for fun)...and if you're a logic and science person like me...research all the scientists that argue in favor of God while obviously believing in science which allows us to learn about the universe, another creation. We are here with a purpose and Ill end it there cause it's a long topic...lol God bless you.
It always impresses me how smart she is, especially for a 2 year old. I don't know if she just likes corn that much, or understood the concept of not wasting food, or didnt want to leave any evidence but the way she made sure no corn fell, and picked them up as soon as they did is truly impressive. It's not just picking the bits that fall, I noticed she was even aware when she out the spoon in her mouth and thre is one bit of corn at the edge of her mouth that might fall keyword being 'might', she used her tiny finger and shove it back in. I think the attention she has on detail is truly impressive even when scooping up she used her finger as a fork to make sure the corn is on the spoon and even use her fingers to make sure the bowl isnt too messy sticking all over at the walls of that bowl. Shes even able to communicate with her mom well, she also understood lying and chose to not give an answer instead of telling a lie. Maybe I'm just not around 2 year old much, but I think shes quite intelligent for a toddler that age.
Not only is Sutan super adorable, she is also the most tidiest eater ever for a 2yo, she made sure there was no spilt corn anywhere, that is impressive!
@@theannoyedmrfloyd3998 *Spilt* is the original past tense of spill, but spilled has become more common in modern usage, particularly in American English. Both forms are considered correct.
Well she managed to last for 2 minutes, i wouldn't have lasted that long at her age. So Kudos to Miss Sutan 5:45 Sutan is telling us "You havent seen a thing. You wont tell my mom anything" 🤣🤣
I'm not sure what I am more impressed with. The fact she is eating vegetables or the fact she can drink from a open mouth bottle without spilling it on herself.
She may just have nothing to do when being alone. If there is a toy on the table, she may wait for a longer time~ maybe you can try it :) You are really a patient and adorable mom.
@@karliejai yes my kids .. They eat alone on the plate with a fork..and drink from a cup..and drink soup with a spoon..I start teaching them at a young age..when they reach the age of two they don't need help. Now my son is two years and one month old and he does it all without any problem.
@@karliejai hahahaha your last comment had me lmaooo!! 💀 asf @“watch your own kids eat”!! Yo I haven’t read something that funny on YT in the longest!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just love this content. Mom and daughter are both fantastic. I’m a dad of 3 older kids now and this brings back memories of how adorable my kids were when they were young.
The way she ate her corn while sneaking around. She’s so cheeky, I love her! But at the same time couldn’t imagine what if I had a child like her though 😂 good job Moe for being so understanding for Sutan 😂
I laughed so much watching this. Sutan is adorable, funny and very intelligent. She also eats more neatly than any child I've ever seen. She probably eats more neatly than I do. haha
I couldn't stop laughing when she looked at the camera and start shaking her head, like telling us not to tell her mam that she ate the corn! That was so cute!
I love how she’s eating with her eyes rolling sideward and everytime her mom asks if shes waiting or not,she gets reminded and then eats 1-2 pieces instead of spoonful😹🤭
Such a good Discipline, no make any mess, no drop milk or food, nice clean dress , even many adults ( men ) don’t do that. Very Cute smile. God Bless her.
Sutan is so cute..I don't blame her, it is a long time to wait! Especially when you're hungry! She did a good job for waiting for 2.22. The kid is hungry! She finished the whole bowl before her mom comes back😁 And her side eyes...she knows she's being sneaky...lol😂
Whenever I'm having a bad day I find myself back at your channel and halfway through the videos, whether I realize it or not, I'm always smiling. You two are absolutely precious thank you for letting us join you in your life even if for a little while.
0:52 seeing her peeping stare, I know she won't wait her mama to eat the corn 😂 I like how she's so smart and not telling lies when mama asks, "You don't eat it, right?" She chooses to be silent but when the question, "Is everything okay?" she answers, "everything is alright!" Maybe she's adding in her mind, "Daijobu, I'm just too busy to move this corn into my mouth". 😂 Sutan is so cute
when Moe was explaining that she wanted to eat with Sutan, even though she's just two, it looked like she was really trying to understand what her mom wanted to say.. so sweet
Sutan looked like she was contemplating every decision she's ever made when Moe was explaining the rules 😂 Poor girl, I knew she wasn't going to make it.
So lovely and just amazingly honest! 💖 Honest with her own feelings, honest to mommy, even honest to the camera~ and of course already very patient for a 2 year old! Appreciate how Moe just smiles warmly and accepts 💖
we're so so close to one million!! ive been watching sutan moe and moto since paulos video and I feel like ive learned so much on parenthood from videos like these even though im 15- like moe is just the sweetest and treats sutan with the utmost respect- but still teaches her with patience and seeing sutan grow from like 6 months (?) to two going on three im just 💞as an asian myself, seeing sutan wear her first kimono (I'm korean so I wore a hanbok) and just a plethora of other things just reminds me of my childhood and it's really heartwarming to see~ as for my background- my mom is the kindest person and i love her with all my heart, but my father was extremely abusive (we've left him a while ago though), seeing a person like my mom so upset but faking a smile for me just really broke my heart. every time I see moe and moto I feel like i can see what its like to have a family that has balance in their dynamic and just learn for my mom and my future family (if I do have one) their videos have always brightened my day- thank you so so much moe and congrats!!💕
I love how she is taking small scoops at first of corn..clever girl so she can chew it b4 Mommy gets back🥰🤣. She is the definition of cuteness as always
She got all excited for her corn feed… until you asked her to wait and you will come back…. 😂Her loooong pause and no answer says it all… 😈 😂 your daughters joy 🤩 and happiness 😊is foooooood
She's SO clever & her facial expressions are just priceless!!! You can see that she has EXCELLENT parents. I can't believe how well she can feed herself! She notices the camera & keeps shakin her head NO like, I know you're watchin me & IDC!!! lmao! So funny and adorable! BTW, for NEW MOMS especially, take a lesson on how to get your kids to eat their veggies! lol Great video!
