Thank you for subscribing and your support! Welcome to Kimono Mom's channel. This channel introduces the daily food of a Japanese family in Tokyo.
I’m MOE. I was born in Kyoto and I have 6years experience of working as a Maiko and a Geiko/Geisha. After that, I got married and moved to Tokyo. And I have been learning to cook as a housewife. I gave birth to a baby girl, SUTAN, in the Spring of 2019. I really started thinking more deeply about the health of my family and the importance of daily food. But moms in the world are very busy with child-rearing. Therefore, I will show you how to make SIMPLE and HEALTHY Japanese home cooking.
I really want you to try and enjoy Japanese food at your home!

This channel is not the same anymore. It changed when the business became the central part. I certainly can’t afford to subsidise someone’s travels around the USA. I wish someone would pay for me and my family to have a year long road trip, you’ve got an absolute cheek asking for financial support😡
This is so refreshing to see :) When I was younger, around 8, I remember helping my dad bake something. He yelled at me for not being quick enough, and I ended up dropping a cup of sugar all over the floor in my panic to rush and help. I still remember how I felt to this day- I was terrified and in tears, knowing how much trouble I was in. I wish my parents had been more like this.
If i ever have a kid, I'd cook with them too. Like my mom did with me, not as much. But I did learn a lot of cooking from just observing her and helping her out... And occasionally getting thrown out of the kitchen because i was more of a bother than help 😂
I know this is 3 years old but....never seen crab sold like that...looks like real crab...and 100 yet? It's like 62 cents here in the US. Crab here costs 68.82 per kilogram...which is 11,109.47 yen if I'm not mistaking. It blows my mind..... The fake crabs much more affordable here...like 12 dollars a kg....or 1,936.96 yen?
