You see in this video why the team loves Jeff Green even if his minutes aren't always great. He's a veteran team leader, who's coaching the younger players. "Mike! Mike! Mike! Come here!"
At first you would think that Nikola is the leader of the team but this video shows you how much veteran presence and experiance of Green means to the team and also KCP
Yeah. And some fans were dumb not to believe that the best player is NOT always the "leader". Even though some lead by action, lead them in stats during games, a "locker room" leader is different.
These Nuggets are really a family, respecting and learning from the elders, even if they don't play that much, uncle Jeff, KCP, and even DeAndre, they're the spinal cord of this body, many strong limbs working hard, the head made out of many valuable coaches, and a mystical, celestial brain pivoting the whole team like a functional body... I'm not a Denver fan, but i love the game and that's awesome
@2:50 Jamal Murray sees Bruce Brown getting instructed by coach malone and walks on over to have a listen or maybe get some himself. Shows how amazingly coachable they are.
“Me & AD, we were just talking…and we came to the consensus that Denver is one of the best teams we’ve played against in our 4 years together.” LeBron James, after getting swept in the WCF to the Denver Nuggets.
1991 - The Chicago Bulls advanced to the NBA Final for the first time and then won their first NBA Championship. 2006 - The Miami Heat earned their 1st NBA Final appearance and then won their first NBA title. 2019 - The Toronto Raptors advanced to their 1st NBA Finals and clinched their first NBA Championship. 2023 - The Denver Nuggets advanced to their first NBA Finals in the Western Conference Finals and ???
@@jakubbielak7273 The Spurs became the first former ABA to reach and won the 1999 NBA Finals, right? The Nuggets played for the first ABA Championship title in 1976, right?
true that, he hates media and attention however he did had a "coaching moment" in game 3 against lakers cause nobody shot was falling and he gathered them in the huddle and said "ok everyone be quiet and listen, me an Jamal are gonna run 2 man action you guys keep out of our way and set screens" then they went on 13-0 scoring in the 4th quarter
@@onyxblack1167 They really shorten up the rotation in the playoffs. It's pretty normal although I like coaches who throw curveballs by using more guys off the bench even in the playoffs.
He’s asking for karma. Yesterday in the press conference he mentioned about being asked the same question every day. Be humble you’re in the NBA Finals.
@@brianbadonde9251 He brought up Deandre Jordan because he was on the Clippers with Blake and CP3. Dont know why you mentioned Aaron Gordan and Jamal Murray.
