I was literally just about to pour bromine on my phone. I'm so glad I watched your tutorial first. I would've been so pissed if there was any damage at all after pouring toxic, corrosive elements on it.
Dude. You're really going to up and hurt yourself if you aren't careful. If you have money to spend on so many new devices, you REALLY should take more measures to protect yourself. Fire extinguishers, gas masks, fume hoods. In the long run, it's the years you live, not the views you get.
He didn't even use f*cking gloves! It isn't like he has no money to spend... Why not sacrifice one/two videos in exchange of actual safety measures? I mean, if he is going to waste all this sh*t, at least he should protect himself...
I work with bromine with swimming pools and pick it up and put it into the bromine feeder it's not dangerous to the skin but is bad if you inhale enough of it.Muratic acid is much worse
I like how he warns how dangerous it is, yet pours it without using gloves. Bromine gas (the noxious looking brown gas coming off of the liquid form) is harmful as well, yet he doesn't sound like he's wearing a mask and if he is ignorant enough to disregard that, he likely isn't using eyewear either. If you're someone who wants to do these type of things, please use safety gear. You might not die the first time you breathe a chemical in, but continual exposure is a slow killer.

He knew how corrosive the base is and continuously tells the viewer to 'not do this at home' while putting his hand in a pot with the SH in it... WITHOUT GLOVES! Bromine is nasty stuff. You really shouldn't be playing around with it like that unless you know what you're doing. You appear to have no hand protection, and you haphazardly splashed the bromine into the container. You're lucky you didn't hurt yourself. :/

U are not doing it with safety precautions,u dont used safety gloves,no safety goggles......................If by mistake a drop of it get on your hand then it will destroy your skin......
@elli Seeley It doesnt really matter that he wasn't close to spilling it, it could have splashed onto him. It was incredibly stupid of him to use bromine without gloves and goggles. Bromine is extremely dangerous and he should have used the correct precautions while working with it. Also it was very irresponsible for him to not put any real warnings in his video.
@elli Seeley What I mean by it splashing onto him was it reacting with the aluminum and shooting out bromine. Have you ever had boiling water splash out at you? It's the same thing. I've seen videos of bromine splashing everywhere when it begins to react with aluminum.

You know there may have been small bromine particles that he could have breathed in without recognizing that first. Some things are so small we cant even see them, like particles.
