Respected sir, being undisputedly the tallest grammarian of this generation, you are earnestly entreated with folded hands to let me know which of the following sentences is correct from the grammatical point of view -(A) I will finish my homework before going to school (B)I will have finished my homework before going to school.

Hi! Both are correct, but look at the situation from a different perspective. A) focusses on something happening between now and a certain time in the future. B) imagines being at that point in time in the future, and thinking from there "What is finished?". Does that help? Best wishes Rupert

The weather is getting colder.here,weather=colder.the weather links the word colder with the help of getting verb .therefore getting is a linking verb here.here getting verb gives the meaning of changing in situation. Now,my doubt is here getting here also act as an action verb.

Hi! "Get" in this case means "becoming". "Here" simply indicates the location of the event. I hope this helps but do ask if you need more clarification. Best wishes Rupert
