Well I think it depends on the child. Take me for example I really struggled a lot during online learning and wanted to get back into a physical classroom as fast as possible. But my friend found Online Learning so much better than learning in a Physical Classroom. I honestly think education should be focused on the individual child rather than in blocks of 30, though I do understand that will be a real challenge in the United States where I live, many schools mould the current system and curriculum to fit the kids preferences and needs. Especially in the later years of Secondary School. Though I mean no disrespect to your comment since it is clear that Online Learning suits you better and that is your preference but I'm just not the same case as you.

Elijah Brown Well, to be honest, I come to school only because I need a degree. In my country, if you’re homeschooled, it’s basically impossible to get a proper job. You can’t have a mortgage from a bank, so you’ll have to depend on your family or worst case scenario, shark loans. I don’t learn a thing in school, other than useless stuff that I would forget. But I learnt how countries fought World wars, I learnt how engineers designed ships, I learnt how NASA built probes by RU-vid videos! Do they teach you basic stuff like survival skills or formal talks? No! Do they teach you how to avoid imprisonment by learning taxes? No! Do they teach you the fundamental rules of economics? No! Such practical skills are never taught! I sort of hate school at this point, but on the bright side, my country is having a petition for school to be re-opened online. Life is all about journey and getting to school is in it, you see its good to be doctor, engineer, or any high paying jobs if you like to be at it but would you go to school just to get a diploma for a freaking job you don't like or will you go to school to have an experience what's it like to be in a school ( those stupid things where you do at school yeah that's fun ) if you fail then it means there is another path. Life is all about exploring things, journey does not stop there when you fail on school. I am not saying it's okay not to go to school, I am just saying please consider what you love and do it instead forcing yourself you dont want to do. When you get old you will regret more the things you did not do rather than the things you did.

Let me correct you, we were not taught to LEARN it. That's why sometimes when you try to remember this concept in your brain, you don't remember it, cause they literally just feed you so much information that all it is is jumbled up information in your head. If they teach us to learn the material instead rather than memorizing it, we would easily connect the material which not only makes you memorize it easier since it makes more sense, but it would also help you to understand the content more. And when you pair memorization with understanding, boom, better grades, better ability to hold onto that information for far longer than a semester, and better education. Education was initially meant to be about learning, not memorization smh

Ally Shovein yea i agree. That’s why i’m saying how most teachers just spoon feed us a bunch of information than trying to make us apply the information and truly understand it. You can’t really remember what you learn if you never learned it in the first place right? The foundation of learning is understanding. Memorization just follows through right after. I know this all sounds kinda cliche lol, but it’s one of the main reason why our educational system is not doing all that well.
