Well tbh the tourist areas are super crowded and overpriced. But most of us with corporate jobs don't have the time to "live like locals" in the away from tourists
Bali is not a country btw, Bali is an Island and one of the 38 provinces in Indonesia, so it is part of Indonesia, and the Mount Bromo is located in East Java Province that is a part of the Java island, Indonesia, and it is totally seperated from the Bali island. also the Komodo Island is not a part of Bali island either. It is actually a part of East Nusa Tenggara Province, that is located in the Lesser Sunda Island, Indonesia. so they both are two different places in two different provinces, and two different islands. But thank you for sharing things about your experience in the Republic of Indonesia. I hope that you enjoy stayin here. Love from Indonesia❤🇮🇩
@@TruthseekerA😂😂😂 where you hear that? From AMERICA TV? WE TOGETHER LIVE IN THIS COUNTRY FOR OVER DECADES IN PIECE OF HARMONY. Shariah law only allows for ACEH Province, one of 38 province in Indonesia. BALI have independent laws too. We life HARMONY here.
@@TruthseekerA Bali's main religion is Hindu, with over 85 percent of the Balinese population being Hindu. There would be no reason to imply Shariya Law.
They are not "God", God is a biblical concept...they are "Parmatma" there is no perfect word to describe all the Sanskrit words...-"ultimate eternal consciousness" could be the closest one
@@yohanlive8588 Parabhraman is higher than paramatma. Parabhraman in English translation equivalent is The God ( which is biblical or abrahamic form). People follow many path but only one eternal TRUTH that's SANATHAN DHARMA as per Vedas or Bhagawan or Ishwara all represent Shiva and Vishnu as per most puranas .
To be honest they are overrated after the pandemic. Been to Bali around 2017 it was really good as we can even worship along with the locals in all main temples but now they've closed entry to tourists and one can't even take photos. For ex - Pura Luhur Lempuyang is just a picturesque spot now & they won't allow people to go inside the temple. Here also one can only take photos from their officials and the queue is horrible
If one sees a temple as a picturesque tourist attraction, I’m at complete loss of words. A temple is a place of worship, and I would rather that devout Hindus and locals may pray over there in opposition to foreigners who anyways consider them as “pagans”.
Finally someone spoke about this.......😢😢 1.Please properly dispose/clear your waste... 2.Don't disrupt the animal habitats..take precautions and know the rules before going there...... 3. Know why you are going there..is it for instagram posts or vacation/trips and decide accordingly..cuz there is lot more in there than just scenic spots.......... Finally have a safe trip😅❤
Anyways if you read this, i know why the monkey is aggressive. You did an eyes contact, and holding their favorite food. Yesterday i went to monkey forest and the monkey is so calm and not aggressive i promise.
I grew up in Bali and lived there for over 20 years, and in Canggu to be exact. Ya I know. It used to be the best place to live . So beautiful so serene. And now my parents can’t even rest well at night especially on weekends and holiday season. 😂 I agree that people need to explore Bali more, try to visit Gilimanuk area, Sidemen Karangasem, surf around Medewi beach in the west Bali side and so many more beautiful places in Bali that are not very common for tourists to visit. Try the local food, there are so many varieties of yummy Balinese and Indonesian food. And lastly please do take care of our island. Respect the people, the nature and the culture, and you will find Bali irresistable 💙 Side Note : try to visit other places in Indonesia as well. It is a very beautiful Country 😊
Agreed. I have travelled from Sumatra across the islands as far as Flores ( East Nusa Tengara). Indonesia is varied and huge and the southern tip of Bali where the tourists huddle is not representative of Bali, let alone a whole nation.
I'm going to Bali in Feb. I don't want to do anything touristy. I want to try local cuisine and explore local culture. It would be awesome if you could give recommendations. I'll be there for 8 days.
@@arshdeepsingh2386 I’m not sure if I can tell you all of the places and food and activities but let me try to mention a view. If you like nature, away from the crowd. I can sugget you go to the West Bali National park it is close to Gilimanuk, it’s a (more or less) 3 hours drive from the airport. you can stay there couple of days (they have hotels and accommodations inside the park and surrounding it) and enjoy activities like snorkeling, diving, trekking, bird watching, canoeing etc. Or if you don’t want to go too far from the airport, you can visit Sanur and Nusa Dua area although still a tourist destination, but a bit more relaxing and it’s not too crowded compared to Canggu, Seminyak Kuta area. But visit Canggu, Seminyak and Kuta area as well just for one day they have their own charm. For cooler weather and beautiful nature view you can try Bedugul or Jatiluwih area, Gianyar has alot of interesting things to do and see as well. Temples are not overrated, should try visit them as well if you’re in Bali. For food it really depends on your diet and preference, but if you eat pork ofcourse you have to try Babi Guling which is a Balinese suckling pig dish, but if you don’t eat pork no worries cause we have things like Lawar Kuwir a Balinese food made with local goose and Nasi ayam Kedewatan or Nasi ayam bu Oki, nasi ayam basically means chicken rice. If you prefer Vegetarian or vegan food we got you, there are a lot of restaurants who sell vegan and vegetarian friendly. Or try tipat Cantok which is Balinese food made from mixing greens and rice cake with peanut sauce Balinese style, or Gado2 which basically similar but with different flavor profile on the sauce. Those two are vegetarian friendly, for vegan ask first if they use eggs or shrimp paste. If you like rice try other Indonesian food such as nasi goreng, nasi padang, nasi campur, nasi uduk etc ( nasi means rice ), we Indonesian take pride in our chicken dish as well such as Ayam Goreng and Ayam bakar. If you like seafood go to Jimbaran area, you can buy and pick your own seafood in Pasar Kedonganan and ask the local vendors to cook them for you. Balinese and Indonesian food in general can be too spicy so if you don’t like spicy that much you can say no sambal or tidak pedas means no chili or no spicy. Works for any food. They’ll understand. I apologize for a very long comment. But we do have around 17.000 islands with hundreds of good food and beautiful places all around too. And I grew up in Bali so I know too much but not enough space to write them all. Most Balinese speaks English, most Indonesian are friendly so you can ask around for more recommendations. Enjoy Bali! I hope you can visit other places in Indonesia next time 🙏🏻
Jo kai bar ja chuka h aur ye bki jagh explore ni kia uske lie h, khi b jao to kuch skip ni krna chahie bd m regret hota islie mai to hr jgh ghumungi. 😇
Brother, temples are not overrated. What she meant was people go to Lempuyang temple just to take a picture at the gates of heaven. You can see it in all the instagram pictures about Bali. Swings are used just to take pictures by spending a lot of money. For these photos, people miss the mother temple called Besakih. Excellent temple with great views and history.
Bali is not a country, but one of the largest islands in Indonesia. And Bromo is on the island of Java, specifically East Java, Indonesia. around 251 Km from Bali. The fastest journey from Bali to Bromo takes 3 hours 30 minutes.First you need to take a plane from Bali Airport (DPS) to Surabaya (SUB) for around 1 hour, then the journey from Surabaya to Bromo Cemoro Lawang (the village closest to Mount Bromo) takes 2 hours 30 minutes. and Komodo Island is between Sumbawa Island and Flores Island in the Central Indonesian archipelago. The distance is around 468 km from Bali Island. So these islands are part of Indonesia.
I have been to Bali like 11 times you can always take a boat to Nusa Penida to enjoy nature or Kecak dance at the Uluwatu Temple 🛕 takes place daily at 6pm Bali time
@@gautham231989 tbh expect for the swing and the ancient structure, nothing is worth travelling to bali. You can find all those things mentioned in the video in india itself
@gautham231989 Dude don't stop yourself just because some dumbass influencers told you so. Go and decide for yourself what you wish to experience rather than take unsolicited advice. P.S Everything has been replicated except for the actual experience. Travelling is not only about the destination its also the journey and the experience and don't let anybody dictate them for you.
Actually, there are lots of tourist attractions with beautiful and pristine nature, not only in Bali, for example in West Java, Indonesia, there are lots of tourist attractions that are worth visiting, such as: - Mount Tangkuban Perahu - Sari Ater hot springs - Lembang, Maribaya - Kawah Putih, Ranaca Upas, Ciwidey, Situ Patenggang, Tea Garden, Cileutuh Geopark, Ujung Genteng, Anyer Beach, Pangandaran Beach, Green Cnyon Ciamis, Pelabuhan Ratu Beach and others
Bali is a province in the archipelagic Indonesia. INDONESIA is THE country where Bali is a part of. "I love the blue of Indonesia. It's my kind of blue" 💙
some of these places are NOT in "BALI" Momodo Island is a 1hr flt. away. As well as other places mentioned here. Many people promote "BALI" but when you come to "Bali" you realize many places in their videos were not in "Bali" but more so hours outside Bali
So true❤ Well said. just from our first trip to Bali we have learnt so much. Next time we go there, we will have more relaxation and adventures. Lesson learnt from the first trip
My travel to Bali on Dec 2022 were exactly same as your suggestions. We went to Leke Leke falls, Skipped Canggu and watched sunrise in Mount Batur also.
Didi come to Tanzania plz ❤❤ it's an awesome country Visit My. Kilimanjaro,Zanzibar, morogoro,Arusha, Moshi and don't forget Dar Es salaam Lots of Indians are here waiting for u 🎉
Ancient piece of work is never overrated. Its a piece of art and is unique in its kind. Of course people who travel for the first time will go and take photos there .
I’m in Bali now. Wow. I tend to agree with most of this. My travel is a bit different, I have unlimited money budget(within reason) and extreme time budget. My biggest qualms is the traffic and I knew it would be busy, but I don’t enjoy the busyness. Everywhere you turn people are trying to scam you to overpay for things. Good luck getting out of the airport without being harassed. Still worth the trip 💯%!
komodo island and mount bromo is very far from bali, these place are at different island, beside, mount bromo is overated, if you want go to mount at other island, I suggest you to go to mount ijen, you can see one of two natural blue fire in the world if you go there at right time, and it's at banyuwangi, not to far from bali. but this is just suggestion, as Indonesian, I found bali nowadays is overated and not friendly for local tourist, at least based on my trips experiences to bali, I hope other place got more chances too, because Indonesia has many beautiful places.
I'm an Indonesian. Nowadays the tourism workers treat locals better. I think. Because during the pandemic, they depended on local tourists. When they prefer to cater to the foreign tourists more, I usually speak up to the tourism staff. If foreign tourists become rude, I speak up to them as well. All in fluent English ! It usually gives them some shock therapy 😁.
People crying in comments “Temples are not overated!”- Are u going to Bali for Tour or Pilgrimage visit? Understand the basic difference. She is giving the tourists some idea, she is not suggesting a pilgrim visit. These cow mutra idiots have to grow up. Seeing immature comments like this are getting annoying!!!!
does foreign tourists visiting Indian temples are only for pilgrimage? they find it fascinating to know about the art, history and technology used to build these architectural marvels. same way when we visit new places we like to see historical sites too so its never overrated
Hey you who ever commented, if you’re a person who doesn’t believe in god then that doesn’t mean you will insult others faith, if u r so annoyed why don’t you just mind your own business and let everyone follow their faith.
I did this trip earlier this year - a few things to note about what the video says: 1. Ubud is also really busy. So busy you can barely hear yourself speak in restaurants in the main tourist area because of all the noisy bikes outside. BUT we went on a food tour one day, out to an authentic Balinese house which was quiet - the people were lovely and food delicious. Recommended. 2. Hikes. Some of these hikes take multiple days and are for experienced and very fit walkers. Beware before booking onto a tour group! 3. Monkey forest. Actually very fun and if you keep your head down the monkeys should ignore you. I didn't see anyone get attacked! 4. Boat trip. We did this. It was super fun - we saw Komodo dragons and whale sharks. Met some lovely people on the boat. But definitely take books to read - there were times when we were on the sea for 24 hours non stop and it could get a bit boring! There's also no privacy unless you're willing to pay more for a private cabin. It can actually be quite expensive. But all in all, it's worth it for an amazing country!
Kindly keep all these places away from tourism 'light'. let the places be peaceful, clean and safe until even wen new places are found by itself and if they get care and secured by its local people and government, only thn social media or individual should think to bring those places in light to 'shine' them. So till thn It's better not to promote them for each 'self' individual benefits. Let's protect the remaining hidden resources for their liveliness till the world end by itself.
Both of done as a solo travelers means that's fine if you both done it together means that's not solo traveling..... It's means a lot. And in all reels I found she is having only boys as a friend and companiyon not a single girl is coming in reels, she is enjoying I think
I went to jogja, Labuan Bajo, Bali, gili islands and Nusa penida on my last trip. I’m planning to go to Sumba, Ende, Satonda Island, Rote Island and other parts of Indonesia later this year 🇮🇩🙏🏼
Bromo is on java Island, Ubud, Kuta, Canggu are in Bali island. You also can go to Komodo Island in Nusa Tenggara island, you can see Komodo dragon. Wakatobi in Sulawesi. Raja Ampat in Papua. Those places are in Indonesia.
Mount bromo and komodo island actually not located in Bali, but all of them including bali are in Indonesia. So u need to move to another province to visit bromo and komodo
I'd rather stay at gili trawangan (or at other 2 gili islands) when you xan snorkeling every morning, play at the beaches during the day, cycling from one spot to another, and party all night
Vicite Banyuwangi this place in Jawa island , you can going by Ferry from Gili manuk -Bali to Banyuwangi have G-land and tre anggul asri Beach the beach inside the national park and still natural Beach that place we Call alas Purwo is popular janggle in east jawa. And also you can vicite kawah Ijen mountain
Travel in yourself, because travel outside does not satisfy your travel curiosity Inner Journey If you have started and enjoyed it you are disappointed, why didn't I start earlier
I think it is each to their own. We all learn from mistakes and know what to avoid next time 😅 I have just been to Cretya Ubud and actually liked, despite being quite busy. Also visited Monkey Forest and was dreading of going there but husband wanted. I was suprised and relieved how chilled monkeys were. We had no problems but I know that accidents happen in there. Surely I would plan my next trip differently knowing what I know now but I am enjoying my time in Bali now and it's good time for sure 😊
Some travel to learn and explore new culture and history not for vacation and enjoy thats why I never see your videos but all the best for your life and views on yt
