Nicely explained. I think you should also give names of other IT companies together with Deloitte . In beginning it looks like that you are speaking against Deloitte but as you go on speaking further it is clear that it is not.Good work.
Bro in the end its you who has to make the decision. So many factors are considered while making a decision and only you know them. Both are great companies to work for!
Hi! Could you please tell me if Deloitte Support Services India Pvt. Ltd. comes under Deloitte USI or not? And is it a good department to join in Deloitte as Analyst?
As the name suggest, this unit of Deloitte focusses on development of their client facing functions like Deloitte consulting, advisory etc. Your direct clients would be Deloitte teams who will work on tools or processes that your team designs. Good exposure to technology but this is not consulting. You will learn a lot for sure but wont have client portfolio attached to you (this is strictly from my experience and things might be different now.. please verify yourself)
Completely depends on what you are looking for in your career. If USA is something that you want, i think the video makes it clear what to expect from Deloitte. Before signing the offer ask about onsite opportunities specifically. I feel Accenture being a global company, they will behave similar to Deloitte for indian emloyees so If you dont care about onsite then both are good option
IMO you have a better chance of going onsite and learning new technologies if you are with TCS, Infosys, Capgemini and some startups as well. Sounds counterintuitive but I hope my video makes it clear.
Hi Very well explained!! I have a doubt. Can a fresher who is a Finance Graduate (B.Com), find it easy to get an international transfer to the USA within one and a half years after joining? As in most cases, I have seen that the people who are transferred to the USA are usually from the technology or engineering field. Can you please clarify my doubt?
One you are in Deloitte, nobody will ever ask you if you have Bcom or tech. It all depends on what projects you become a part of. There are many Chartered Accountants who go to US as well. However as I mentioned in my video, joining Deloitte in India and going to US is tough for anyone.. doesnt matter if that is finance graduate or engineer.
Congratz for your offer! Your previous education and degrees has no effect on your career in Deloitte. If you can do well in projects, thats what matters.
Sir, There was a new role announced for 2022 batch B.E/B.Tech/MCA/MBA students called “Analyst Trainee” and we gave NLA(National Level Assessment) for that. My Interview was good. I am hoping that I may get selected. As this role (Analyst Trainee) is new can you elaborate what king of responsibilities I may expect from this role. And Can I get Pune Location.(for USI)
Can you tell me what service line offered you the role? Pune office has recently started and they were really trying to get people to work from there. Totally depends on what service line you are tagged to and if they have presence there.
Hello Aarav! May i know what group gave you an offer? Also, typically if its a campus hire then only eligible candidates are allowed to interview. So i feel you should be good. Ill still ask and let you know. Give me a few days.
So long as you have not faked anything, you are good! 12th doesnt define you. I dont see any issue and congrats on your job! Please see my other videos on consulting and best of luck for your career!
Hi, Nicely explained ! I have a different doubt, if we get 3 years of experience in deloitte USI in india and then go for MASTERS in USA.. is it easy/hard o get job in deloitte in US ? As i have already worked for Deloitte USI in india.
I know a few people who were from usi who did exactly like you… indeed it is added as a positive point for your job application but does not guarentee it. I mean you still have to go through all rounds but yes it will definitely help you in some way.
There is no set process of transfer between usi and us when the employee desires it. They will move heaven and earth to get an employee transferred if they want him/her for a long term project. Basically what i am saying is that if you want it, you need to make your connections by reaching out to people and taking chances. The leadership in USI is not supportive of permanent transfers.
You seem to be a great person if you have 3 offers! Well it all depends on what you are looking for. I wont be able to say one name as that wont be correct. Please take a look at job description and long term opportunities to make your decision. If its deloitte USI, you know how i feel about it but its upto you.
very well explained...i just joined deloitte couple of months back..and noticed there is no much scope of moving to foreign country.. but what do you think of relocating to different cities within india ? will that be possible ?
You will be able to move to cities where there is a deloitte office and if there is a presence of your group there. This relocation will be solely on your own cost unless the firm has asked you to move.
@@ambarish-dongre Recently Deloitte started a relocation reimbursement policy ("maybe due to the recent outbreak-WFH trend") where you get around 40k rupees reimbursed. You can definitely avail that! PS: I forgot to mention, its available in USI, don't know about Deloitte India.
