Despite how it seems to some people, Taemin and Key really adore each other. All their gags and banter are for show, just like minkey. Taemin actually has taekey fanart on his 'most prized possessions shelf' in his apartment alongside all his trophies. If that doesn't show how close they are, nothing will. Up until recently they lived super close to each other and Taemin would always spend time at Kibum's place + they'd eat together. I have no idea what the commentators were saying, but I assume they were only talking big because they're babywols or not actual shinee fans.

I just read pinned comment and I do not want to even think what was the nonsense people wrote here. Key has mom energy, from day one. Taemin is pure innocent baby. Minho is athletic overly invested in winnings, Onew is soft dad, and JH was/is the funny dad. If you watch them from Hello baby you will get the emotions they share and connection. They are family. In every aspect of that word. What Key did when JH died is pure mother/parent emotional reaction, he demanded to see him. He had the pain but strength to see him in order to truly accept he is gone. Same as any mother would. In terms of being "adult" Key is the adult in the group, business knowledgeable, and with high self-respect. Who else would go to fans "Learn Korean" when being asked to speak in English on Vlive? All five of them are unmatched when it comes to K-pop industry. Unique as individuals and unique to be in one group that fits so well.
