Are you stuggling with 🥵 hot flashes?
Meet Michelle in this video as she shares her menopause experiences after a partial hysterectomy. Following the procedure, Michelle noticed an immediate absence of her monthly period, along with the onset of some perimenopause symptoms. Her biggest challenge? Hot flashes that have persisted for over 7 long years. Despite the discomfort they bring, Michelle courageously navigates through important business meetings and presentations, triumphing over those embarrassing moments.
In addition to hot flashes, Michelle is also aware of a very common menopause symptom - the excess weight around her midsection, commonly known as a muffin top. She has also noticed that she feels more emotional than usual, which surprises her as she is typically a strong and steady person.
Michelle has discovered that hot flashes are triggered by sugar and hot drinks, so she is mindful of her diet. With the help of various exercises and physical activities, she is able to manage and even find joy in this stage of her life.
Michelle stresses the importance of embracing menopause instead of hiding or feeling embarrassed about it. The key is to have open conversations with friends and family members. This not only helps us gain knowledge but also allows us to better understand the changes happening to our bodies.
Join Michelle on her journey to conquer menopause and discover how she finds joy and strength amidst the challenges.

I have very frequent and intense hot flashes despite being only 39 and having fairly regular periods.I get hot flashes more than 50 times per day on most days, and 1-3 nighttime hot flashes. On other days I have hot flashes non-stop for several hours then they stop and may (or may not) come back after a couple of hours.Occasionally I have a day or two without hot flashes or with only few ones.I get them everywhere, at home, at work, at the gym, on the supermarket etc.I get particularly bad ones while driving, to the extent that I was about to have a major car accident. My job is very delicate and having a hpt flash during work can have catastrophic consequences, so I am thinking of quitting work altogether, and this way I won't need to drive long distances. I didn't find any way to cope with these symptoms, and my doctors don't approve giving me HRT as my hormone tests are normal and I am still having periods.

@@moahmed3678 I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing such intense hot flashes. It's unusual to have so many in a single day!!! I can imagine how challenging your days must be especially at work. It's possible that your current doctor may not have much expertise in hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and may not feel confident in recommending it. I think it's worth seeking a second opinion as you must be really suffering.
