We all make mistakes, right? Some avoidable, some, maybe not so much. In this vide, I go over mistakes that I have made that have led me to where I am today. Be sure not to make these same mistakes.
Hit the nail on the head dude. Current 1st year SRNA and I didn’t realize the toll my body and mental health would take from sitting in front of a textbook/computer screen every day. Going to the gym has helped a lot. Keep going! Glad to see ya back 👍🏼
Shelby! Thanks for watching. Totally agree. That is definitely something I didn't fully consider- the toll it would take just being sedentary a lot of the time. What else has helped for you?
@@DavidWarrenNP I do my best to treat studying like a job. I have a little one so once she is home from school I'm in mom mode. With that said, I'm usually done studying for the day by around 4:30 so I have a little family time before she goes to bed. Then the studying can resume if need be. I think keeping yourself on a schedule really helps and setting aside breaks/days off to decompress makes a huge difference. I also do my best to eat healthy during the day so I have the mental stamina I need. I make green smoothies everyday for lunch and drink them while I study. It has become a part of my daily routine and I pre-assemble them so I don't have to think about it. Sorry for the long winded answer!
Hi Shelby, thanks for the reply! That definitely makes sense. I think sticking to a schedule and treating it like a job has helped me, too. I feel like if I don't stick to a schedule, I will just keep going and never take breaks or take time off. Best of luck in school! No doubt you will crush it!
Everyone has different path. It’s never a waste to constantly better yourself. If you know what you want to do from a young age and you end up loving it, good for you. Some people like to try different things.
I need an advice, my friend told me that always wanted to be a physician. I told him go to medical school, get transcripts...bla bla. He said he can't, he said i am 60 y.o. too late. He said "I am old" I felt bad. I never though about my incomplete goals. Please some advices!. Is 60 y.o. too old for the american dream?
That's really a decision only your friend could make. For me, I enjoy not working and life way too much to be spending those years in school at that age.
