Review the qualified occupations that allow Canadians to work in USA under USMCA agreement. Say you become Canadian citizen in the future, it helps if the USA job market is opened up for you as well. Finding the right major to study (based on qualified occupations under USMCA) is a starting point. For example, engineer and registered nurse are qualified occupations.
I think the whole story is based on me. I also have done Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering and tried 3 years to get into the field but the field is too limited. I am also working as a mechanical engineer along with my job i work as an aerospace freelancer to continue my passion or you can say dont want to waste my 4 years where i invested myself. I am planning to purse my masters in concordia university in MEng Aerospace but will switch to MEng Mechanical. I wish i could met you and tell the story there is alot we aerospace engineers ususally faces. Thanks
