It appears to be the X6100 part 2... Not that much of a game changer in my opinion to ditch the 6100 if you get a good deal on one.

Xiegu radios I have had have all been very reliable, but I have used mostly on sub and cw.

Question - Have you tried hooking the Anker to your HF rig - I have a Bluetti ac200max - and it does not work at all when powering my HF rigs - they where truthful when I asked before I purchased it whether or not I could use it for HF - it does work fine on UHF / VHF. I use the Bluetti for keeping me comfortable while in the field - I have other power sources for radio work. It would be a shame for you to spend lots of $$ on getting the Anker hooked up to fine that it causes a harmonic distortion every few Khz. Looks like a nice unit for emergency power.

So I’m a new ham. Not even a year yet. I’m going for my general about a month and a half from now and am looking for my first HF transceiver. I of course want a 7300 but then started looking at the Yeasu 991a all band. Now I’m kinda torn. Anyone have any input on what you would suggest?

Yea after getting burned on the 6100 Software problems I'll pass on anything XIEGU.

G90 with old software (1.76 with mine I believe) works flawlessly. Never updated firmware.

@KU8RLY not sure who this question is targeted to, I nor the OP mention anything about problems with software. I just said mine has worked G90 has worked flawlessly. Because it works how I want I chose never to touch the firmware, it's original firmware from maybe 4 or 5 years ago. (Edit) sorry, just realized the OP did mention software problem, my bad. Most reviewed 6100 on RU-vid had all types of software glitches, that's why I'm hopeful the 6200 has that resolved. I would still wait a year or two before buying. Seems the 6100 must have had hardware issues requiring a redesign.

I like the part on the Radioddity page that says the batteries are probably coming by sea and delivery will likely be a month and a half after the radio ships.

I am cheap... I make ALL of my antennas now. Since I have started making my own I have probably saved myself thousands of dollars. So it is not often that I get excited for a new antennas because I never really plan on buying them. I must say I am very excited to get my hands on one of these explorer pota antennas though... I am going to make myself a clone for every day of the week. 🤣
