Don't ever give up. I'm in my 50s. I have a back injury and other issues. Caused me to gain 100 lbs and I ended up in hospital with heart issues. The nurse treated me like I was dead. I went home, started juicing veggies and fasting. Fasting led to prayer and fasting. Brought me closer to God in the process. And I lost that 100 lbs. I'm 15 pounds over my goal. You can do it too.

These exercises are all very well and good, but until you lose the right amount of body fat with a good diet then these exercises will waste your time.
All the people in this video are in excellent shape, I'd like to see a big person in these videos work their way to a slim person. But with a good diet and will power it's probably doable.
Keeping your body fit with a solid exercise plan and is not a waste unless all you are going for is looks. I'm 6'1" 215lbs with with a bmi of 18. I don't have great definition but I'm putting up more weight now in my mid forties than I ever have. There are very few people that maintain their bodies at this level for long periods of time and usually add fat when not in their peak training time. I go through times where my bmi is lower and it's usually about a month in on my training cycle where I'm training the hardest and most frequent and my diet changes to fuel my workouts. I can't maintain that as long as younger guys because it takes a lot out of me and my recovery slows down and the chance of injury goes up. My workouts get light for a few weeks and my food consumption goes down before taking a few weeks off. Maintaining a strict diet and intense workout cycle is very taxing. Even if I'm eating whatever I want, working out is still worth it. I may not get as much out of it but it is not a waste of time. You start to enjoy it and it becomes a part of your life. I'm retired military and I'm in better shape now than when I was in. I started building muscle up around my injuries to help reduce pain and it has really changed me for the better.
@@jkosh2046 I'm not saying exercise is a wastes of time (per se)you have to admit most of these videos show a well maintained body doing the exercise, the proverbial 6 pack is always there but will never be seen if it is behind belly fat. It takes time, effort, dedication and discipline to get a good body. My BMI is in 20 to 22 range, i suffer with a life long health condition and i take medical steroids, so although i keep to a good diet and exercise to the best of my ability 5 times a week , it's hard to shed the pounds. Before my illness i could lose a few pounds in a week no sweat. Fitness videos are there to guid and inform (although there are many showing you a numerous ways of doing things) you have to listen to your body and do what is best and what works for you. Having said all of that i have dropped 3 stone (42 pounds) since 2021 and i still have fair way to go yet.
Bro! On the opening shot. That's dehydration, bro, and a body dying and in decline. In fact being swollen is a sign of inflammation and damage. That's what body building is. Putting the body into a constant state of damage. It is why most people who train like this die young and become crippled later in life. Peace!
Overall, this workout seems well-rounded and hits the obliques from various angles. It includes exercises that target different muscle fibers (isometric vs. dynamic) and incorporates bodyweight, free weights, and potentially cables. Here are some additional thoughts: Consider your fitness level: If you're a beginner, start with bodyweight exercises like Russian twists and side planks. As you get stronger, you can progress to exercises with weights or cables. Warm-up and cool-down: Always warm up your core before a workout and cool down with some stretches afterwards. Focus on form: It's important to focus on proper form to avoid injury. Don't hesitate to adjust the weights or modify exercises if needed. Rest and recovery: Give your obliques time to recover between workouts. Aim for 2-3 non-consecutive days of oblique training per week. I hope this breakdown helps! Let me know if you have any other questions about these exercises or oblique workouts in general.

If you are fat, increasing muscle size will increase the appearance to be fat , increasing muscle does not mean to reduce fat… nice core exercise, thought….
