That's what I don't get about gay black people. Like how not self-aware are you to not know- or pretend to not know the difference? Go to your congress and demand 2 separate policies that effect black politics and gay politics individually, and see which one is granted more quicker- let alone one of them being granted at all. This is just more of that fake wokeness nonsense and grifting of "special interest" groups taking advantage by trying to not only share a space, but completely eclipse the struggle of a people who have fought for equal rights and protection that every other group that has immigrated to or was created in America, has been able to benefit while profiting economically and gain social prosperity- EXCEPT for the ones that fought to get it! As pretty and articulate as she is, it's a damn shame she's just another tool for the alternative establishments. People still don't get being far-left is just as bad as being far-right. And that's why we as regular black people get pushed to the side and left out, because if we're left to have to pick a side then there's nothing really we can align ourselves to with these types of politics. I don't support gay agendas, and I don't support politics that are historically oppressive towards non-white's (more specifically black) and that focus on enriching their constituents rather than the citizens who pay their salary and invest into this country rather than simply taking and misusing the resources that's been put into it. But that's just my honest opinion 🤷🏾‍♂

Even with minimal experiences of black and gay people being ostracized in certain parts of society, it's not just arguable that special interest groups are able to effect policies here in America, when the rest of Black America don't have the political power in this country to even remotely do that- unless it aligns with either far-right or far-left agendas. When have we gotten something that solely benefited us, and other groups didn't come behind us and take advantage where we're no longer able to utilize or benefit from it the way they're able to? I believe it's more "selective morality" than being "misunderstood", but to your point- I believe there's a possibility that people do think that way and the way she thinks.
