The bonus round is a prime example of why it's not a great idea to give clues that only the friend would know. Well ok, every once in a while it works. For example, 'my hometown' would work with a friend. But 98% of the time, it just doesn't work. Listing the names of 3 child they both know was not the best choice for anyone to guess 'child'. First of all, it immediately takes Matt out of the guessing (although, bless his heart, he still tried!). Second, she listed multiples, but the answer was singular. Third, it was such a waste of time! 'Opposite adult' would have given it to Matt immediately and saved them about 10 seconds. 'Coke ingredient' would be fine for caffeine. But saying 'Diet Coke' automatically made them think about the sugar-free aspect of the drink. Their guesses were very appropriate for the clue. Even though they ended up getting the answer, it wasted almost another 10 seconds.

'Visitor' really threw them. 'Appearance' would have been a much better choice. Either way, how they got to 'planned parenthood' from his clues is beyond me! 😂

In the bonus round: If they accept "glasses" for "glass" then "children" should be considered correct for "child".

It's a matter of pronunciation.

You pronounce "glass" as you say the word "glasses". You don't pronounce "child" as you say the word "children". Same reason homonyms are accepted.

"Glass-es." "Chil-dren." You never say "child." You say "chill." Like, the clue could have been "chill" and they said "children" and it would have counted. But they never said "child."

This was Meredith's way of saying to all the commenters who hate on Orlando, that she loves him and his willingness to be a guest on this show. And basically to leave him the F alone. LOL. You have been heard Madam.

No she hasn't. There's plenty of people I love that have no business being on the show. But anyway, Orlando is Mensa material compared to the 2 contestants HE was stuck with today (what in the world does a "TV guest star" have to do with "planned parenthood"?). SMH.

Kinda hard to watch in the bonus round. She's too slow and her clues weren't that good. let the other girl have a go. child = single kid caffeine = coffee ingredient. I did not know diet coke has caffeine in it lol. glass = bifocal

Child is a part of children!!! If they nix using part of the word for clue giving then that should’ve counted when she said children for child

You don't say the word child when you say children. It's a matter of pronunciation, not just because the clue word is in their guesses. It has to be said the same. They never said child.
