Just a quickie from me: I heard this song while on R & R from Viet Nam, 1972, in Hawaii. I had to go back to Viet Nam. and I fully realized that the people of USA despised those of us in military service! I had no family, nothing to look forward to, and your song, while it didn't relate to the war in Viet Nam, was so sad it brought me to tears then.... and it still does now! (And I'm 77 years old!) Thanks for singing this again! Come here to Las Vegas! We need a Beverly Bremers concert here!
