The VNP rocks *only* because you can deck it out with all the drip the game can throw at it.

Yo Mikey been watching all your Zero Sievert content. Love it all thanks for these. I noticed you never put water or vodka in the quickslots, can help with inventory management in certain cases. Hope this helps.

Nope. The circle disappears when you kill a single enemy for a quest, and also it never popped up that you completed it after you killed the patrol. The message you saw was your ammo type. Also, if you wander around the edges of the obstacles, sometimes you can see a talk option pop up, and then sometimes you can shoot the blocks and kill them, and sometimes you need a grenade.
