Check out the Observer Camera, mod! It's neat, steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1596632143 Pruinae's original post, forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/111422-know-your-anenemy-now-with-video-yay-i-guess/ List some other ways you've tried to farm with these guys or maybe just ideas you got from watching this video! Maybe we will revisit them some day?! :D
Another great video there =) I haven't planted anenemy to a boat. Do you think Crab King can trigger anenemy when placed very adjacent to him? And will not destroy the boat where anenemy is planted if you sailed or teleported away immediately after inserting pearl?
The best use for anenemies are for farming McTusk. Just place about 6 around its spawning nest and it will be automatically killed. After winter you go to collect your loot.
Very good video! Anenemies do offer a lot of opportunities for farming. But I have a few quick questions left: 1. Do anenemies regrow on their homeland like carrots do, or is the amount of anenemies in the world set during the world generation, and could not be changed? Is there a way to farm them? 2. What is the average amount of the initially generated anenemies per world?
I'm a year late to the party, but I have a pig farm for anybody interested. I live close to an isolated pig house, pigs respawn everyday, anenemies deal 60 damage and reset themselves fairly quickly. This allows me to get 1 meat or pig skin everyday, and I honestly have way too much that food is not a problem anymore (especially as wigfrid) and I don't know what to do with pig skin. Be warned, the trap is intended for 1 pig man per anenemy reset. 2 or more pig men entering the farm will allow them to eat the bait. If the anenemies aren't ready yet, drop a sculpted statue at the entrance so the pig will still think of pathfinding towards the bait instead of hugging the walls. Legends is as follows: [] - wall {} - gate + - anenemy o - bait _ - space []__[] [] [] [] + [] o [] [] + [] + {} [] + [] + [] []______[] [] [] [] [] []
@@mr.liquifier8343 thanks. I have been getting a lot of good RNG in my world. I managed to find a puffy vest before winter and got two beafallow horns in a row.
there's a video in his channel listing the mods he uses. the one that shows health of the mobs is simple health bar. there's another called epic health bar that does the same.
Nice work. Some ideas, which may be worth to test about anenemies: Slurtle farm, butterflyfarm, Walrus farm, or in Lunar Grotto for Mush Gnome and rat farm. Oh, and maybe Krampus farm
Floor traps can't hit flying enemies and slurtles will not stay out long enough and have way to much roam range and health for that to be a thing. Otherwise, go for it. Oh, but Krampus won't work either cause he leaves after picking three items up.
I tried Walrus farm using anenemies. They worked. My stupid ass built a base around two walrus houses. The anenemies did help me alleviate the burden of fighting them. But, the hound sometimes break through the walls and come out and walrus has 300 health. If u are not careful they can still run free. So I would give it 3.5/5 on anenemies farming.
You played as literally every character with literally every skin of their's in these tutorials. How about you start playing as characters you've covered in mod monday in your tutorials?
Around frog ponds is the way to go! I do this in every game and you will have frog legs/small jerky/eggs coming out of your eyes. You will easily get more than enough to last you through winter. Plus with stone fruit bushes you will be very well set especially for pierogi. Honestly for anenemies and stone fruit sailing to the lunar island may be one of the first things you do since as Beard has pointed out several times the islands aren't too hard to find. Also a walking cane is highly helpful for triggering them and dodging to get all the frog legs. I pretty much now always base near a pond that hopefully doesn't also have moosegoose.
Here's an idea for bored folks (exclusive to non-english ones): Try to translate Anenemy to your language while keeping it somewhat a pun or a hint like with original name. Good luck!
A gobbler farm is also a decent one. And if I remember correctly Wigfrid's favorite dish is turkey dinner. Or as beard points out put these guys around a pond and get tons of frog legs.
BEARD PLEASE READ: Could you do a showcase of a charater relationship/romance mod for Don't Starve if there are any? Also, if yes should I find it or will you find it first?😉
