I always put some body armor in my bag so that when its time to fight I can just slap on some armor and drop the bag.

I love how a noose takes center stage in a thumbnail about “survival”

Note: attacking anything with a compass immediately reduces its durability by 30%. I found this out when massacring butterflies when on the fourth one, it broke. T-T

The faster pace of these recent videos is great. Less downtime between nuggets of wisdom, trimming the video to match the commentary instead of waiting for animations to finish before moving on. Good stuff!

The thermal stone info about was really helpful l, my current world kinda skimmed me on rock areas

Piggy back is for gathering with the walking cane the wrapping is for the food make sure to have max stacks before you put in and gathering if running outta space and fridge can be used for gathering to prevent spoilage from other foods

Just a suggestion, can you make a video on the game’s “extra” modes when you look at the forest options, Lights Out... a common challenge for the normal game but how difficult is it with more players, including caves and those big bads

Why is the icon a noose tho It’s almost how that is the best way to survive

They buffed the insulated pack by +2 slots, making it a flat upgrade over the backpack. The food preservation aspect is very useful. I find myself always picking up food when traveling point A to point B. Carrots, cacti, mushooms, monster meat. Anything. Stuff it in your pack, and it will last that much longer until you make it back to base with ice cooler. More fresh food = less time foraging = more time to do everything else. Well worth the investment. The extra 4 slots from Piggy Backpack are tempting (especially if you have a tamed Beefy Boy like me, who ignores the speed reduction), but I suggest waiting until you have bundle-wrap.

This is nice now I know how to heal myself other than using butterflies or souls

One thing I think you might have wanted to mention, the insulated backpack actually slows down ham bat spoilage, so when your not holding it in your hand, put it in an isolated backback, also really good for when your exploring for a long time and want perogies to not spoil fast, and its portable food/healing. Also water ballons can be used with a morning star on bosses/enemy's to deal more damage than a dark sword.

Oh god, the whirly fan. When I was really new to the game, I used to think that the temporary endothermic fire and the whirly fan were the only items to beat out the summer heat. I would just craft an endless amount of fans and run around in circles like a crazy person to keep them going 🤦🏾‍♂️ I didn't even know about the thermal stone 😂

So ice isn't necessary for Water Balloons, but it helps make them anywhere... Huh. Get me a blue gem, let me scan some bugs, bunnies, and whatever else- the ice machine is up and running. (Cold WX would make Ice Cream factories a chilling breeze.)

The Waterbaloon isnt ment for summer, or having fun with your friends... its the ultimate anti-griefer weapon! :D save your base and freeze them to death with just 5 - 10 of them :) than the only thing that they can hurt is your mind ;) with the sanity-drain of corse

Random Webber tip that no one's going to read: Starving or going insane in winter as Webber is impossible if you know what you're doing, even if you're in a world with some less spidery friends. Spending dusk and night to place traps around your spider egg (with a simple firepit nearby) and spending day collecting sticks and grass for traps and Ice, and you're pretty much set! Spider glands heal you, Silk lets you make Top hats to solve the sanity problem, and using one monster meat from the spiders and three ice from- well- anywhere! it's winter! and you've got endless meatballs. All you need really is a thermal stone for collecting the grass, sticks, and ice. I was making all of the food for me and my friend (who played Wendy) and we still had 25 spare monster meat by the end of winter!

help are you using a mod please tell me cuz they show health and other things

I use a mod where I can store backpacks in my inventory and one that makes the insulated pack work like an ice box. To be honest its pretty op in summer and because i have extra equip slots for backpacks and I use Wilba(with mod) I can store items for hunger and health, mine and store ice and cool thermal stones WHILE being a werepig. Its a bit op but its a lot of fun
