Klei has replies to comments asking for a full series before. Basically they said that if you want a series you should tell streaming services like Hulu, Netflix, etc that you would watch a Don’t Starve (or other Klei IP) animated series.

I kind of prefer the shorts. They allow smaller, dedicated stories without the worry of the Network suddenly demanding 10 episodes and canceling the show after the first one doesn't make a fuckarzillion dollars in the first second of being availt

That would be so cool. Something like those teasers, but with a lot more chronology, imagine Fuel Weaver/Celestial champion fight with a little mute comedy mixed in. Maybe some affinity stuff. (Some survivors would defeat Fuel Weaver, other Celestial champion, and after a clash between shadow and lunar aligned survivors they would unite against Charlie or Wagstaff)

I reckon it's just fuelweaver or its soul or something. Skull, body type, ribs. Maybe Klei's cooking up shadow fuelweaver lik there are shadow rooks etc.? It definitely establishes that Charlie's shadows are stronger underground as even during the night she prefers to be there.

Walter and Webber are totally getting the next skill trees since they both appeared in the animation (Woby and Walter's tent, not Walter himself) Webber is also the only other survivor featured in this animation except Wilson, who already has a skill tree + Walter's tent and a bunch of spiders appeared in "Staying afloat" the animation that featured the most recent skill trees for Wurt and Winona. I really hope this is klei's way of teasing us and not me going crazy

I love this animation, it's adorable and a real treat to see Chester's misadventures, the beefalo trader, and even Charile again. Speaking of Charile, awhile it was hilarious to see send Chester back, seeing her again rises the question of: who was she talking to? But reguardless of answer and when that will be revealed, great work Klei. It looks amazing.

Ah, so it's somewhat confirmed that the Ancient Queen/Metheus is fused with Charlie. I sure think it's interesting what the Queen could possibly told her... perhaps how to lure the survivors more on her side? Great story!
