I was trapped! As an adult using alcohol as an escape that became my prison. After years of use, I'm proud to say I am one week sober! Praise the Lord!
this came in just in time. I'm 17 and the lord has called me to reach people at my school since it is my senior year but as I began to step outside of my comfort zone I would get discouraged along the way and I would feel very low about myself and today just wasn't my day so I prayed and asked God to give me a sign or a word because I needed some hope and this just popped up and I related to every single word he said. Thank you , The lord really does hear my prayers.

I have been heavy hearted for the last 24hrs so I was beyond happy to see the first video that came up on my newsfeed was this one. Thankyou Lord for speaking through Steven. I've battled opiates for yrs and was never in the present always thinking about it or how to get it...I was lost as a child who I was always feeling abandoned even as an adult i used because I didn't trust anyone cuz they had always left me.. I use drugs to help me not think about it..but Gods delivered me from the addiction of drugs and I've been clean for 2 weeks..praise God.. this preaching really touched me..now I'm just reconnecting my relationship with the Lord Jesus!! If you're new to the faith, check out Mere Christianity by C.S.Lewis and Theology for Beginners by Frank Sheed. Those two books will speed up the learning process and help you make sense of things like sin, grace, the Trinity etc.
I've been so depressed this past week ,I couldn't Pray..what I did is to cry and looking at the ceiling..until I search a helpful videos on RU-vid..that's when the time were I saw this video title "DONT STAY TRAPPED "...it helps me a lot although I'm not yet totally ok..and watching Pastor's sermon made me realize that there's a lot of ways on how to overcome my goliath in life! #ThankYouLord 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

The last time I heard of someone being trapped was when my cousin wanted to someone or something he wasn't ... Sure enough many of us feel trapped in a body that we can't stand ...or don't like...but once you learn to accept and allow the body follows the instructions that is needed to be the only body need for this amazing journey of change...

I am Victor Jacob from Pakistan. Mostly I listen to your sermon. Thanks for sharing. I know that all things are created by God and he does not need the worldly things. Basically, Jesus came to restore Adam to whom Satan had taken and in Mathew 4:8-11 He was saying about the World that he considered that he had taken. It is linked up with Genesis 3. Satan was trying to say that I will return you these things back to you and you don't need to be crucified but Jesus loved us and this Adam defeated the Satan. hallelujah.

This message is not only for teens...because many of us did not get saved at 13, 14, 15. Many of us got saved at 31, 41, 51 and lived a life that was built around a lie. Now, because we've been brought out of Egypt heading to the promised Land. For us it's a little harder because we've been in Egypt longer and for some of us in this age group we're trying to become a whole new person from the one we built our lives around for 10, 15, 20, 25 years. And it's very hard, not impossible, but very hard
Please please keep praying for me I have lost a father I have lost my three children's father I have lost my mother and my grandfather and I am battling Addiction on and off and trying to be a mother to my children I need strength and I need freedom from this battle
Honestly grateful for this word. It came at the utmost perfect time. I'm 17 & started social media & honestly its been weighing on me. The constant posting & needing validation because I feel empty, unappreciated & invisible. I use it as an escape to the point where I can't concentrate outside my phone in the real world, so all I ever think about is being in my phone & getting recognition from people I don't even know just to escape my real life. Mpilo Mcetywa Social media can be a blessing and a curse. Satan uses it to distract us and keep us away from Jesus as well as to make us feel inadequate. Remember that Satan is a liar. I love the Jesus in you Pastor and I'll keep watchin. My first live sermon was today and I pray my God brings me here every Sunday because I used to "watch the weather" and false believe that when the time is right I'll get done what I know I can get done...I walk blind with him on a maybe and trust and know God has my back. No matter the worldly outcome, God has my path already set. So, if it's a maybe and the only thing holding me back is my fear, I use that fear as fuel because no fear is greater than our God! He can have that and I'll draw near to him while he shows me more and more that his grace and love and trust will manifest in my life if I just continue to use that fear as my fuel forward. I'm so thankful for your word that found me back when you preached "death to selfie", I reached out and I bought that DVD. Now my prayer after so many have been answered recently is that I can tithe from my new career as I have feared not having the money I need to get from one check to the next. However I am realizing as I type this message that what my late dad told me is true for it, that "there ain't nothin to it...but to do it!" You are a great blessing and I thank God that you heard your calling and are able to get the word to those who God needs you to reach. Thank you Lord for this man, may his blessings be many and may his outreach grow exponentially as you have it written Lord let it be done. In Jesus name Amen!!!
