I like this lady so much! Her challenges don’t upset her; she just does the best she can and “keeps on truckin’!” I’m in that sort of condition - nobody willing to help - and I get courage & inspiration from good folk like her.
🙋🏾♀️Dr. Jefferson, you are a treasure. The elderly in need find the best podiatric care and guidance in visits with you. How proud your ancestors would be of you were they able to see a man from their lineage with such dedicated YT followers and patients as you have. Lord bless you and this lady for sharing this helpful visit with us. If she were my mother, her feet would receive my ardent attention everyday. Anticipating your next video. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Congratulations. Thank you Dr. Kevin for the video and many more videos. Dr. Kevin patient hops when she walks. Sorry senior citizens have a great deal of health issues. Sad they cannot get proper help. But Dr. Kevin is here to help. Some people do not have any natural affections when they come down to share or help people. Dr. Kevin is here to help. How wonderful is he. Again, thank you. Everyone is greatly appreciated. Love always, Patricia ❤🎉😊Great job!
This sweet lady is a survivor❤ I'm so glad she came back to your office for much-needed care and healing for her feet. Hope she can get her hips fixed so she may have less pain getting about. Like everyone says. I wish you practiced in my state! You are such an encouragement to your patients AND viewers. 🎶😊🙏🏻
Bless her, that was cute. “I don’t stop, I hop.”😅. When I had my knees replacements I found a long handled brush with a sponge on the very end. It was really helpful getting my feet washed. Thank you for being such a caring and thoughtful person. 😊❤
There isn't one person in this patient's family who can trim her nails? Come on family and help her out. Thank you Dr. Jefferson for helping this lady. 👏👏👍💐🌻
it really isn't safe if you don't know what you're doing. My mum is diabetic and I do hers with extreme caution. But I did an aesthetics course and I know to look out for the hyponychium and even then if I'm not confident I'll just file it down instead of cutting.
@@jacijune I understand with diabetes you must take extra care. If you see nail then it should be trimmed. Sometimes it's difficult to determine nail from skin. I wouldn't touch the skin but if you see nail then just cut it. With this lady, you could tell nails except on big toe. Use a currette to be safe after a long soak. That should loosen dead skin so it's easier to remove. Don't use alcohol in the foot soak because it dries out the skin. Use a good moisturizer after. Shea butter is good.
My husband came out of hospital today after foot/ankle surgery for a ruptured tendon and collapsed arch. With his first post op steps using crutches (gotta be non weight bearing for weeks) I told him “Don’t stop-just hop!” Thx for your usual kind questioning and tactful advice in this video. You’re simply the best🎶
I'm so THANKFUL that my actually has a podiatrist that comes to our house her nails every 3 months. As Always Dr. J you are AWESOME with your patients and the care you give their feet. ❤🙌🏾
I CANNOT Like this enough! Thank you Dr Jefferson for the tips for patients who may have hip problems (I broke both) and the lower back pain. Your education in your videos is priceless! And I will never EVER try and clip my own toenails as I ended up clipping toe meat. Podiatry appointment is October 5. I will be more patient, and wait. Your services are excellent. I wish we had you everywhere. ❤❤
That was a very nice lady. I really like her. She’s a tough one. I’m 72 and have some issues and she’s just like me. Gotta just figure out how to get the job done. And she’s doing a good job doing just that. I wish her all the luck in the world and lots of love. ❤
You are an amazing and kind podiatrist, who does such a brilliant job. Just by watching this, you can see that she is not anxious as you carry out her treatment ❤ It must make her nails/feet feel so much better, not catching on her clothes/socks and more importantly she is not in pain Is she eligible for free treatments or will she have to pay? Its times like this that makes me appreciate living in the UK Hugs and stuff 🤗
That made me laugh when she said I don't stop, I hope. It's wonderful to hear older ones talk about things like that. It gives light to their lives and it gives strength to those who are younger who face challenges. Once again I'm so glad this lady is in your care.
Blessing Dr Jefferson 🙏🏽yr Day is going well Like I have said u are one of the Best Caring Foot Dr I knw & I haven’t meet u Thank God 4 U In the DC Area Keep hanging in there Do have a Bless Week End u & yr Family May The Lord Keep U👋🏾
I love to hear you laugh out loud, Doc. ❤ I have a couple docs that I work for who are very low-key and stoic and much of their communication is like yours, “hmmm” “mm hmm” and it makes me day if I can make them laugh out loud.
You are a excellent Dr. I like your calm way you handle your patients. You have some messes to deal with , but you let your patients maintain their dignity. Like your work😊
Dr.jefferson, you are an awesome human being....no judgement just go about your work doing your best.i live in Australia and am addicted to your channe😊l
I have a horrible back and one hip worn out. The physical therapist I saw said it is the worst hip he has ever seen. I can't reach my one foot at all and the other barely. I started going for pedicures before I had any problems with my feet. So far she keeps them in great shape. I think that is the key. Easier to keep them good than have to fix problems.
Dr Jefferson I sure wish you could work on my foots(feet). When they act up they are called foots. When they do right they are called feet. You do an awesome job
When I can not reach my back or feet I use a long handeled gripper like you use to get something off a high or low shelf in your kitchen I get a clean wide popsicle stick or tounge depressor and wrap clean guaze near end of stick. I then put the cream or medicine on the guaze and grip the stick with my long reacher and put it where it needs to go. I go through quite a few sticks and guaze but do not waste any medicine. Good luck. Also go ahead and get your worst hip done and wait for it to fully heal before the next one. I have had both knees and my sister both hips it is so nice to be able to walk better. If you live alone tell your Dr and they can keep you in hospital for three days and medicare will pay for you to go to a nursing home of your choice for up to 6 weeks for help with your personal care and physical therapy. I stayed 2 weeks one knee and three weeks other knee, this is under Part A which everyone gets free at age 65 if they have worked enough weeks to qualify.
Good day, Dr. Jefferson. I’ve missed watching your video’s terribly!!! My brother was recently placed in a skilled care facility, and he needs his nails done BADLY!! A podiatrist swings by once every two months. I honestly wished you were in Charlotte and/or Huntersville NC. I know you’d do an outstanding job on his feet.
Hey Doc! I know it’s been a while that I’ve commented. Thank you for what you do. I know she feels better. I’ll hop when I need to😄. Hope the family are well.
You are such a blessing to your patients. Their feet look brand new when you are finished. I know they love you for doing such a great job too. Please forgive me for this, but I don't like the addition to your filer. I know it's best to have water while you file but the tube is so big it blocks the view. I love watching the filing part.😢
I have fungus from diabetes in about 3 of my toenails. I have taken the oral medication, but it didn’t work. The foot doctor said it might be hard to cure diabetic fungus. He didn’t think they looked that bad, but l don’t like it.
I’m amazed at how many elderly have nail problems, no one can check their nails and feet, every family member and nurse needs to check these folks feet, should be mandatory in hospitals and nursing homes, in home care givers too
Did you notice her feet don't match? It's like they belonged to 2 different people- but Dr Jefferson will make them both better looking than when she arrived.😊
No one in my family will help me with my feet either. When my granddaughters were little they would trim my nails and put the meds on my toe and lotion up my legs cuz due to needing hip and knee surgery and a bad back I could no longer reach my feet but now they teens they say yuck even tho I provide surgical gloves and offer money. So I go every 3 months for nail trim etc. but really need to go once a month. Next year MEDICARE will cover 6 visits so every 2 months thank God. I take the Fluconazole 200 mg for the athletes foot and left big toe fungus only 1 time a week for 6-8 weeks and also put the monkeys blood on the toe if I can get someone to do it for me so easy just brush it on my big toe. Also if I can get someone to do it I rub Tolnaftate all over my feet and all toes and also use the powder I pour it onto a sheepskin I have for my feet in the bed so I dont get any sores and then just roll my feet in the powder. Thats a good idea use the silicone foot scrubber for in the shower out on the towel on the floor put the creme there and do what I can to rub it in that way.
I don't understand why my foot doctor didn't got rid of my toe fungus he treated me for two years even laser and oral pills Lamisil my nails got worse I stop going and years after I went to a Dermatologist she told me there's no cure I have seen videos of this Dr with all this patients my toe nails aren't this bad I don't understand why I can't get rid of my I hope I can see this Foot Dr
