Welcome to the RU-vid channel of podiatrist Dr. Kevin Jefferson. I have been providing medical and surgical foot care for the residents of Washington, DC and the surrounding area for many years. I treat all conditions of the foot including fungal conditions, heel, pain, trauma, and surgical correction of deformities such as bunions and hammertoes. However, my passion is advanced wound care. I have been blessed to participate in healing chronic wounds, saving limbs, and improving lives. Please enjoy watching my videos. You will gain a better understanding of the field of podiatry, common and not so common foot and lower extremity problems, and appreciate the rapport between doctor and patient. Feel free to leave comments and questions. Follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter @DCFootDoctor
Congratulations. Thank you for the video and many more videos. The patient is in pain with feet and other pain issues. Dr. Kevin J is doing procedure treatments. The patient is talking about family issues. Overall, the patient is very glad to be a patient of Dr. Kevin J. The patient knows that she will have healthy feet again. The patient has a story to talk about. The patient is very proud to get rid of her pain. Everyone is greatly appreciated. Love always, Patricia ❤🎉😊Great job.
I really like the way that you don't just make a video but you teach about the various conditions that occur to the feet. I love it! Keep the videos coming.
And this is why you have to see a doctor when you're hurting. It may seem easy because we see all these videos, but they are trained and experts at what they do.
He has the best bedside manner cause some Drs don't care ❣️ this Dr has great skill too. His foot didn't look like a he same foot once the Dr was done. Awesome job I'm glad you made the man feel better
I’m not calling about this episode. I’ve been watching you all day and I’ve got a question. Does anyone ever recover and have good toe nails after they have a fungus?
How can calluses get so big? Everyone gets small calluses at some point but we usually cut off the dead skin way before it gets this bad, how this guy was even walking is beyond me.
Callouses are so painful. I had one for a couple of years due to my job as a trainer and being on my feet a lot. I used to dig it out myself for a long time, but eventually saw a specialist who resolved it after several visits. It was nothing like this guys though. I can’t imagine how painful walking must be.
I'm glad this man got the care he needed. I do have to agree with some of the opinions here. His caregiver stated he would not LET mess with his feet. He doesn't seem to mind the doctor messing with his feet and I'm CERTAIN the doctor is messing with then a lot more that she would have. So I don't believe for one minute that man wouldn't allow her to care for his feet. He appears to be at ease while it's being done. It's just that simple!
you deserve a prize for the Humanity you show each of your patients. Perhaps some of us will be compelled to treat our fellow man with a bit of kindness and humility following your example.
I had it when i was in middle school, for almost a year, a bit bigger than this. Because everyone i know always said its just something that will go away on its own and never took it seriously, even when i said its painful and annoying. And worse, i was also in martial art course that love to do marathon on the Street while barefooted I still walk just fine, but again, it hurt and frinkin' annoying. Then one day i snapped and said "either you fix me or i don't want to go to school". The bring me to doctor, and finally realized its more serious than they thought. Then they do operation, literally open my feet, because the mushrooms already spread too much root inside just scrape it like this video wasn't enough anymore. When they take it out, it literally look like an iceberg. It took me 2 weeks for full heal. The scar still exist even today
