Infinite Plague Death Knight is all about shuffling an infinite number of plagues, having infinite cards, and infinite Helya cards in your deck. You might be lucky enough to also have infinite copies of anything you want, such as Zilliax. The posted deck list is obviously a draft, but I think that is the start of a good archetype that you should definitely try but never tell anyone about.

Very interesting deck, really want to try it. 1:06:00 you just need threads and kill zilliax , the poison will clear the board.

@@stfu-pi-ddk1ddo891 I mean due to the rune restrictions you can make 3 blood deck but no plagues(why just to forge some card and make a 10mana windfury weapon) Or this deck which is better you have headless horseman and helya. You could play this as classic control death Knight and save halya until the very end against warlocks, warrior and thief priests. This spreading the deathrattle to Primus or yogg or helya. Is nice. You need plagues because big spell mage.

Which are the preferred targets for amalgam growl combo? Helya? Yogg? Primus? Marin? Maw & paw? Zephrys?

I think the best is helya + Zilliax, but primus and yogg are second best :) all other cards like marin and so on are "better than nothing"

Wow ! I've builded an egg/plague with yodeler, death growl and Reska, I use the new card that spend corpses for have 2 copies of a card in the deck, but I never think about the Amalgam! Today I will give a shot! ^_^

Well, you are not expected to do that in each game, only against a control. Against an agro, you will win turns 6-7 anyway when they run out of steam.

Those are probably the strongest death knight cards for late game that are offered so that is a good choice)

Didn't pull Helya once in the times I tried playing this deck. And any amalgam deck/combo is really punished when Zephyrs gives them a silence or mind control type card. Love the idea, but without specific tutors to make sure you pull the combo pieces I ended up with full hands of cards without getting the right cards to go infinite.

That is certainly a problem of all combo decks - you play out your hands and wait for a combo. I would even go as far and say hat if you draw a combo early that is a litle bad. You kind of want a combo to be played out after a zilliax or Primus to not just have a helya but premium drops that can control the board too. I think the experience with this archetype is key, didn't play enough of it yet, but I think that is a good start of having a deck like this and try things with it.

@@ommo289 I think those are the fillers for the next expansion, so they can work perfectly together. Blizzard does that from time to time. They need to introduce something new to test it with what appears, to fix bugs, and so on, but after they release it and no one plays it, they get cards that interact with the past ones in a really strong manner. That is my thought, at least. I am sure, for example, that the 4-cost card to kill all minions will be used somewhere in the next 2 years when this card is available in standard.

@@DaddySuplex 100%. Imho they also need to be more constant on gameplay mechanics, IE the new cube is antisynergistic with half of the deathrattle cards in standard but works three times with shudderblock ability... We are doing QA test in production guys :D

I played the new mech (dummy) warrior on Cube and it's kind of crazy strong even on top legend. I think it ruins the low rank ladder right now so the cube is actually an awesome card, lol

In the beginning of the video, I explained that this is the specific deck against aggro and mages and I never played it before and had zero experience with it. I think I lost some games just because I was not used to it. I just made the deck public as I think it can work well and if not now, than maybe after the nerf of mages. Even though it does well against mages, the deck can be changed as soon as they are out to have a better late game, for example. All we need right now is experience with it =)

I am glad you liked the idea because I think it will work out even better with cards as the new cards appear. This Combo just appeared in the last expension of the Perils in Paradise and will be available for 2 more years. I think at some point this deck can become top tier deck with a few cards changes.

That is because it costs 2 unholy runes, and that deck focuses on 2 blood runes for premium board clears and board control =)

how can we give the deathrattle with plagues if we don't play any card that put plagues in the opponent's deck with deathrattle???

You give Helya a deathrattle from Amalgham that says "when dies, shuffle back in your deck. It keeps all the enhancements." That means the Helya will reshuffle in the deck infinitely, which means you will play it each time shuffling +1 plague in the opponents deck.

When I play a game, I like to think about all the possibilities. I guess if you do not think and just play green cards, you can have fast turns, but it does not help you to climb the ladder high =)

That is what it takes to create a new deck and new archetype. When you try to create something new you have to try a lot of cards and find the right one. For example, if you tried the last version of the miracle rogue, I guess you lost first 100 games in a raw before you even understood how it works because that is how the archetype works. The same with all the combo decks like this. We tried things and started the work on it.
