I’m a bulls fan, my team is trash, but I LOVE basketball. Watching the playoffs as a neutral with no dog in the fight isn’t that bad. I’m just watching every series as a basketball junkie. AntMan is amazing, Luka is amazing, SGA is amazing, Brunson is amazing, and I hate the Celtics so when they lose it’s amazing for me. The NBA playoffs are just amazing. Seeing the changing of the guard has also been really cool.

I literally texted in a group chat during the Celts game that the ref’s were going to start with the whistles to start a parade to the foul line but the Celtics would be too stupid to realize and they would continue to jack up three’s even though they were missing all of them. What happened, quarter starts phantom call on Mobley, and then two other quickies and another on Mobley and bam 8 minutes on the clock and they are in the bonus. Everytime they went to the hoop in the quarter they either scored or if it was even mildly contested they got a crap whistle. EVERY TIME. I couldn’t believe it. But, hallelujah the celts players aren’t smarter than the dumbest cow on the dairy farm so they don’t ever really go to the hoop and they just concede the game even though the refs were trying to do everything they could to give them back the game. Then it got too out of control and the refs had to stop with the whistles because it would have been to ridiculous. Really pretty unbelievable

East coast bias does exist. No matter of their teams (NYC) are relevant. Press is going to cover it like anyone outside of NYC cares. Btw. I don’t. That is why there are local regional and national coverage. But for some reason this is confused. This is different than officiating. Something NBA professionals have been wanting in for decades.

Refs have too much game changing power in the NBA, free throws can account for like 1/3 of points in some games. And theres a limit on how many fouls one person can do.

The message that the fans & national media need to understand is that....THERE ARE NO MESSAGES SENT IN GAME 1!!! And it's just way too common.

The NBA has zero consistency in its officiating. You really never know what type of game you’re going to get. The game against Denver was so hard to watch. Quite literally, I don’t know why anybody would tune in to watch a game like that. They were trying to give Denver a chance to come back in the series.
